Our guides Sarah and Roberto were great! My partner and I really appreciated all of Sarah’s bites of history-they really gave us a sense of Italy and Pompei along with some interesting bits we didn’t know. The info has been shared with everyone we’ve talked to since! Of this review was just for them I’d give it 10 stars! Unfortunately, I can only give this trip three stars. A 12 hour day where more than half of it is spent on a bus is ROUGH! Especially while on vacation. I don’t think doing both of these locations in the same trip makes sense. If you’re only in Rome for a short period of time, I wouldn’t recommend this trip. It’s a LONG day. We were freezing in the back of the bus the entire way there and back. I didnt think to bring a jacket on an 78f day in the middle of September. If I had, I would have needed a backpack to carry it-which was listed as “not allowed” on the instructions. When we arrived to the meeting point there were numerous people who ignored or didn’t see the rules and had backpacks. Another thing to note is if you are tall and a little older, this trip is gonna suck for you. My boyfriend is 6’4 and he was smashed for 6+ hours in a seat with the same leg room as an economy seat. We understood that Pompeii is MASSIVE and that you’d need multiple days to cover it all, but 1:45:00 isn’t nearly enough time to see/understand it. It truly is a dig site and the exhibition is small. I would have liked more exhibition stuff-go to the museum before going on this trip. It’ll provide a lot more context. Lastly, if you do decided on this trip, make sure you’re aware of your options as they relate to time. If you get lunch at the dig site, you won’t have any time to visit the gift shop. The guides don’t give you time to walk thru the gift shop in the exhibition. If you want to grab lunch in Sorento, you won’t have time to do anything else. Again, our guides Sarah and Roberto, and the bus driver Robert were wonderful! I just do t think this trip should be set up like this. One of the other. Not both. Pack a lunch to save time. Bring a jacket, bring headphones, bring something to do on the bus….. you’re gonna be stuck there forever.

My trip to Pompei, Sorrento and Amalfi was awesome. Antonino made our experience exceptional....He is such a great tour guide, patient, responded all our questions and was always making sure our group was taken care of. Valerio the driver was also fantastic 👏 👌

Sadly, I thought we were going to see the Amalfi coast and see the beautiful area. Sorrento was great but very fast going through. I could not walk at all in Pompeii and I had said that when I was booking, I don’t do steps so to me, it was a waste. My girlfriend was able to walk up. The bus ride was longer than expected. Our guide was fabulous. When I get back, I am hoping that your company will give me partial credit

This is a very interesting & informative trip. Our guide shared the history of Pompeii with lots of humour. Sorrento is a beautiful place to visit. The views are stunning. Well worth the long day

Wow, what an experience! This is the most amazing tour and I would recommend everyone to make room on their schedule to fit this in. I did the Pompeii and Sorrento tour and we had a wonderful tour guide named Rob. He was so kind and really made the trip feel care free and lighthearted. We had a full itinerary and he was so great at corralling all 50 of us! Not to mention he provided us with some amazing facts about our destination which our group enjoyed. Pompeii was amazing. We had a tour guide who guided us through for almost two hours. We got to see some of the best sites and see the museum on the grounds. And the tour didn’t end there, we then got to see Sorrento and stop at a wonderful lemoncello distillery and buy some goodies for friends and family as well as get two hours in the town for ourselves. Please do not hesitate to take this tour!

Pari, our tour-guide was a wealth of information! She shared cultural things as well as restaurant recommendations. We had a history lesson on the surrounding regions of the coast. A long but interesting day! Titian’s, our bus driver was incredible as well! He managed to drive us safely among all the passing motorcycles, pedestrians and busy traffic. We were totally impressed with his driving skills!

We took two tours with your company during our visit to Rome. Both tours were well done and organized very well. We want to mention we had the same tour guide Kler on both days. She was really great, she went out of her way to help with our first experience on the Rome metro. She is a very upbeat person and extremely easy to deal with. She was the one that made our tour experience better than it normally is . We appreciated everything she did for us and definitely made our tip better.

Great experience. John, our tour guide is very attentive. Very clear explanation regarding meeting time and points. Very knowledgeable as well. I always love it when people are enjoying what they do which is something that I see in John. Great food and view in Sorrento. Pompeii is also good. Unfortunately, due to the size of the place it is not possible to explore all of the area in one day. Shoutout to our local guide Giovanni as well in Pompeii. Such a stylish guide! Overall it is a very nice experience, would recommend. Love the group that I went with as well :)
