Fantastic trip. Fabrizio was a great guide and a wealth of information both current and historical. I felt like I learned a lot on the bus from him. Both Amalfi and Positano are breathtaking and the shopping in both places awesome! Pickup and drop off were both convenient. Our bus driver Fernando was also very good. Highly recommended!
The guide Fabrizio was great and informative. However the trip was not worth the price in my opinion. You spend more time on the bus than the islands. The “cruise” is the ferry used by hundreds of other people. 2 hours in Positano and 1 hour in Amalfi and 8 hours total on a bus. Not worth the money. You can take the train and purchase your own ferry tickets for much less. I wish I had known beforehand.
Great way to see Amalfi coast. Best part was Fabrizio our guide. 50 years of experience guiding and knows everything (!!!) about were we went!
This excursion is worth every moment, like entering a magical space. Our guide, Viviana was excellent in relating historical background relevant to our trip as well as keeping the group close, like a family. The airconditioned bus was most comfortable after which we took 3 ferrys from Salerno to Positano and onto Amalfi and back, with free time to explore this beautiful coastline. A journey not be be missed!
Positano and the Amalfi coast are beautiful. However, most of this full day trip is spent traveling. I didn’t realize Rome was 3 1/2 hours by bus to board the boat. Not much time allotted on land.

It is indeed a very long journey to fit into a single day, as the significant travel time from Rome does limit the amount of time available to explore on land. We appreciate your comments and will make sure this aspect of the itinerary is clearer for future travelers.
Had a great time on the Positano & Amalfi day trip. Heather was an amazing tour guide (friendly, funny and full of personality which made the day even more enjoyable). The coach was comfortable and had AC, which was much appreciated in the heat. Both Positano and Amalfi were beautiful, although I wish we had a bit more time in Amalfi. We had around 2 hours in Positano but only about an hour in Amalfi, so it felt a little rushed. Overall, a lovely trip and one I’d definitely recommend.
Roberto was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. The tour was wonderful. We hope to have him again if we book another tour.
It was a wonderful trip, but we spent a lot of money for an excessively long day... 3 hours in bus each way! Guide was very nice but had a heavy accent so a bit difficult to understand all she said. Spent only approx 1 1/2 hrs in each Amalfi and Positano. No time in Salerno. Guide's English was not the best and she gave many directions quickly that made it hard to comprehend all. Food stop for dinner was HORRIBLE food, limited selection, and we took a few bites and threw it away. Worst part was the Drop off location changed at last minute coming back into Rome due to a major summer concert that the Tour Company and Guide should have known about as the stage was already set up at the Piazza where we met at in the morning for pick-up. The entire bus was informed minutes before drop off that we were being dropped off in an area that was unknown to us ... We were told a cab station was 'just over there', which ended up being a major search by many to find cabs to take us home at 10:00 pm. That was very uncomfortable in a strange city.

We are glad to hear that your guide was pleasant, but we are truly sorry for the frustrations and discomfort you experienced at the end of your trip. The Amalfi Coast is a significant distance from Rome, making it a very long itinerary to fit into a single day. Because of the travel time required to get there and back, a large portion of the day is spent on the road, which unfortunately limits the time available to explore each town. We also sincerely apologize for the stressful drop-off situation and the subpar dinner. While sudden city events and concert road closures can sometimes force unexpected route changes beyond our control, we completely understand how unsettling it is to be dropped off in an unfamiliar area late at night.

While we always aim to ensure a comfortable ride, we unfortunately cannot control the weather conditions, outside heat, or external crowds during the trip.
