アクララは1940年代にスリランカで石灰石の主要な産地であった。 石灰石の採掘は何十年もの間村人の主要な職業であり、それらの窪みは何十年も放置され、マングローブに覆われた貯水池となっている。 ここは希少種の鳥類、ミズオオトカゲ、コウモリなど、膨大な範囲の野生生物の生息地となっている。 緑がかったマングローブの中をカヤックで穏やかな海を走りながら、静かな雰囲気を楽しめます。 カヤックで走る列車の真下に滞在する機会があります。 静けさ、楽しさ、ちょっとした冒険が加わって、スリランカで最高のカヤック体験ができるイベントです。

I had a super nice kayaking trip! The guides were very welcoming and friendly, the experience was very relaxing and fun, I'd highly recommend it!
The kayaking trip was wonderful from start to finish! From the king coconuts that we were given on arrival to watching the train go past at the end of the kayak, everything was so well organised. Kayaking through mangroves and watching the variety of wildlife, including eagles, was an experience that I’ll never forget. We even went for a swim ! Kaluuu and Neranjan were the perfect guides and I’d highly recommend this trip.
We had a welcome coconut and drink when arrived. It was all well organised and safe for adults and children. Great going through the mangos and a swim midway in the sea was very much appreciated. Great way to spend couple of hours. Definitely recommend it Kim
A great experience to see some native wildlife whilst kayaking in mangroves with welcoming staff who ensured everyone taking part was comfortable and safe.
We were well looked after I enjoyed the complimentary coconut and was fun going through the mangroves, prepare for your muscles to hurt afterwards
