We had a fantastic experience on last nights foodie tour with Billyvietnam travel. Communication with Billy and Emily was very prompt and comprehensive throughout the process. Emily spoke great English and gave us lots of information on the local history and introduced us to some foods we hadn’t tried before which were all yummy. Finished the tour off with the best avocado ice cream ever and then Emily made sure we were picked up by our Grab driver before leaving us. Thank you Emily.
Wow, what a night, highlight of our trip so far! 9 dishes at 7 restaurants and all very local! Beautiful food every single dish and walking through the alleyways was kind of special as you felt really local and not part of the tourist huddle. Our guide Flower was amazing and very knowledgeable of the local dishes. Billy was in contact the moment we booked and the communication was first class, even the day after the tour! We had a great group of 8 and would highly Recommend this tour to anyone considering tasting the food of Hoi An Thank you!

This tour really opened our eyes to the quality of food in Vietnam! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried, and our guide (named Men) did a great job explaining all the foods to us. If you want to try the best version of all the local foods, sign right up!
What a fantastic fun tour! We ate delicious at stands along the street, at people's homes and at restaurants with typical local dishes. Our guide Amy was very friendly and enthusiastic, she knew a lot about the food culture and about life in Hoi An. Highly recommended!
This tour is NOT for you…. IF 1. You don’t like local food 2. You prefer commercialized eateries and tourist traps 3. You hate exploring the streets to experience the local way of life. Otherwise it is an awesome way to experience Hoi An and its amazing food culture. We had an amazing selection of local Vietnamese cuisine, some on the streets, some of these in people’s actual homes! It was an amazing experience and highly recommended. Our guide Phoung was very interactive and informative, and we learnt a lot about not only the food but how it played a part in people’s daily lives and culture. There is a lot of food to eat. Give lunch a miss.
As someone who is usually cautious with street food, this tour was such a great way to ease into Hoi An’s food scene. The vendors are thoughtfully chosen, so I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Each stop introduced us to delicious, authentic local dishes I would never have found on my own, along with interesting stories about the history and culture behind them. Our guide, Phoung, was warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An. It is a safe, well curated, and truly memorable way to explore the city’s street food and local culture.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Emily as our fantastic guide. Every dish was an experience. I loved the way Emily included so much information about the stall holders, ingredients and culture. We would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a fantastic food tour with Hoa (Flower). Our tour group comprised of 4 adults and 4 children, Hoa tailored our tour to our food requests, and had a good mixture of outdoor restaurants as well as indoor (for some much needed aircon!). Hoa was a superb tour leader and would highly recommend the company and tour.
Had an amazing food tour with our wonderful guide Emily. Right from the very start she very clearly explained the food we were about to eat, how it was prepared and a wonderful insight into the owners of the business. The food and places we visited are not the food places you would traditionally visit. The variety and quality of the food we experienced on this tour was an amazing experience for us. One tip don’t eat lunch before hand.👍😁 Would strongly recommended anyone to do this tour. Craig
