ベルリンの壁記念碑は、首都の真ん中に位置する、ドイツ師団の中心的な記念碑です。 Bernauer Strasseの史跡にあり、かつての国境線の1.4キロに沿って伸びています。この記念館には、その裏に保存されている根拠があるベルリンの壁の最後の部分が含まれているため、1980年代末まで国境の要塞がどのように発達したかの印象を伝えることができます。ここで起こった出来事は、保存されている歴史的残骸や展示されている国境の障害物の痕跡とともに、ドイツの分裂の歴史を訪問者に分かりやすくするのに役立ちます。この記念館はベルリンの壁財団の一部であり、ここにはドイツの分裂と移民の歴史を専門とする中心地であるマリエンフェルデ難民センター博物館も含まれています。

Jerry hosted a great hike tour! He was really friendly and showed us around some interesting places in Berlin. I also enjoyed stopped for coffee when it got a bit cold. I felt like I learnt a lot and got to ask lots of questions too.

Our tour was led by Jerry, it was just the 6 of us in the group. Jerry was knowledgeable and entertaining, he has a depth of knowledge about the history of Berlin and the war which opened our eyes to much we didn’t know. Insightful exploration of Berlin’s history from WWII to the present. Thoughtful guide and immersive experience. Some parts of the city were difficult to navigate, but the guide or the company are not at fault.

We had a great tour around the city with Jerry who was knowledgable, engaging and entertaining. The tour length was perfect for us and Jerry was wise enough to have us start at 1100 when the weather was warming up a touch. Can't recommend this tour with Jerry enough, he's a great guy!
