Serious operator and very accurate and pleasant service.. I recommend it if there is no possibility of an in-person guide.
We had booked the tour for September 8. We arrived right in the middle of the setup for the Budapest wine festival, which blocked quite a few access points and completely ruined the site. The stands were lining all the facades of the castle. It was impossible to find the meeting point to pick up the audio guides, despite 1 hour of searching. The castle staff didn't even know how to help us. In short, a total flop for this visit.
Very disappointed as could not get access on our phone thru the app or email to the audioguide, as promised in the advertising, that we had booked and paid for. Very unfair. Unable to contact anyone at the time for assistance or refund. Also UNFAIR. Will not go thru Yripadvisor again.
Technology apparently decided to guard Buda Castle more fiercely than the walls themselves. We’re sorry you couldn’t access the audio-guided walk. In situations like this, support@touringbee.com can usually help quickly with activation or access. We hope your next Budapest outing is spent exploring the city rather than negotiating with an app.
Well designed walk through the Buda Castle area. Lots of helpful information
Thank you for the great review! We’re glad the TouringBee route made exploring the Buda Castle area easy and informative, with plenty of helpful context along the way. We hope another of our audio guides helps you get to know your next destination just as well!
Very much. Beautiful... The idea of walking around and seeing things, while hearing the whole description. It must be said, however, that this is possible thanks to the Touringbee App.
The exploration tour was a good mix between informative, exciting and also fun. Of course, there are also some things that are not so interesting. But the exciting one prevails.
A simple and effective audio tour with clear narration and some interesting facts. I like the self-pacing. I expected it to start automatically when we reached a point (other apps do this) it I had to press play each time which was annoying as it was very cold and I had to take my glove off, so I ended up feeling very cold overall!
Thank you for your kind words about the walk around Buda Castle! 😊 We’re glad you enjoyed the clear narration, interesting facts, and the freedom to explore at your own pace with TouringBee. We're sorry the weather wasn't the most comfortable for the walk and you were cold. We hope you’ll choose TouringBee audio guides again on your future travels and enjoy discovering new destinations, maybe next time in warmer weather! ☀️
We wanted to better understand the history of Buda district and so I took this audio guide that made us discover places and places that we would otherwise never have looked at. Really great experience.
Great route and clear, concise audio guide, easy to pause and restart at will
A great solution to get around Buda and learn about its iconic places. Lots of information and curiosities. You can hear it with headphones (remember to bring them!) or on speakerphone.
