What a scam
Notre Dame did not need tickets. They were closed at our "alotted time" and Viator gave us no indication. When we arrived at a late opening, we were advised no tickets are ever needed and refused to look at ours.

Rip off
No one showed up at the designated meeting place. Ticket said 8 am - 6 pm. We were there about 9 and no one showed. Trying to get my money back.

this has been a terrible experience. The meeting place is obscure. we are unable to find anything close to this!

It was impossible to...
It was impossible to access the audio guides. The cathedral showed us policy that denies Viader and other similar groups from providing access. I sent an email with pictures showing our receipt as well as the policy statement from the cathedral to TripAdvisor, of which you are a subsidiary since I could not find a direct link online to relay our disappointingexperience. A refund. Is very appropriate.

System failure! (no info/person at the "Meeting Point"
We never found any info/person at The Meeting Point, even after45 mins, and decided to walk in by ourselves w/o audio guide

Forty-five minutes is a long time to search for a meeting point that doesn’t exist! This is a self-guided audio walk on your own smartphone, with no representative or meeting point at Notre-Dame. Not an authorized tour. After booking and attending I was informed it was a false tour that didn’t exist

Notre-Dame has plenty of legends, but this tour isn’t one of them. It is an independent digital audio-guided visit on your own smartphone, not an official cathedral tour, so Notre-Dame staff are not involved in providing or validating it. Save your money and avoid this purchase
Notre Dame is free. You do not need to purchase anything. It would have been nice to have an audio tour but I tried for an hour to get it loaded on my phone and was unsuccessful. I finally got it loaded on my iPad but when I got to Notre Dame, they would not allow me to use it because it was not purchased through them. I’m not sure why Viator sells something that is not allowed to be used by Notre Dame. I do not recommend.

Notre-Dame is free — the purchase here is for the audio guide, not a secret toll at the cathedral door. This is an independent digital guide, so cathedral staff do not activate or validate it. If you are asked not to wear headphones while entering, you can simply remove them for the entrance and put them back on once inside to continue the tour.
