かつて東京最大の魚市場として知られた築地は、現在も活気ある食の発信地です。 英語でアウターマーケットを巡るガイド付きフードツアーを楽しんだ後、巻き寿司など日本語の家庭料理を作る体験型料理教室。 世界最大級のクッキングスタジオで日本語文化に浸ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

築地本願寺は、特にその建築の点で他の寺院とは異なる仏教寺院です。 寺院の外観は南アジアとインドの伝統的なデザインを彷彿とさせますが、内部はさらにその組み合わせを加えています。 長年にわたってかなりの被害が見られました。 1617 年に建設されてからわずか 40 年で焼失し、1923 年の大地震で再び破壊されました。寺院の正面玄関でツアーガイドと合流し、ツアーを開始します。ツアーには寺院の見学は含まれていませんので、興味のある方は早めに来て内部を見学してください。
築地市場は、東京の中心部にある魚、青果を扱う大規模な卸売市場です。かつては世界最大の魚市場の 1 つとして最もよく知られ、2018 年に移転するまでは 1 日あたり 2,000 トン以上の海産物を扱っていました。現在では、この市場は訪問者にとっては食べ歩きツアーのようなものになっており、ツアー ガイドが丁寧に説明します。マーケットの楽しみ方をご紹介します。

It was a small shopping tour at the fish market, and afterward, we went to a cooking studio to prepare sushi ourselves. An overall positive experience that was fun.

It was very great getting to learn how to make sushi! I didn't realize how simple the process is, and it has given me the confidence to make it at home! The food market was very busy and difficult to observe, but we will be sure to visit later! Nono and Hiroko were wonderful guides and teachers!

Miwa did an excellent job clearly explaining each step of how to make rolled tamago (egg) omelette, sushi (roll and temari, and miso soup. We learned a lot and had a fun time. And it was delicious!

Miho was a great tour guide with a warm personality who took us to the fish market and to our class. We actually bought quite a few things from the fish market to snack on and take back home. The class was fun and we learned how to make a few things as well as enjoyed the meal together after. A very nice experience.
