イストリア内陸: モトヴンとグロジュニャン半日ツアー（ロヴィニ発）

Hilly towns with large cobblestone walkways, wear comfy shoes. We were at the artistic town in the morning so did not see many artists. Beautiful scenery.

Extremely disappointed and angry. This was a tour that I had specifically planned during my trip abroad. I arrived at the agreed meeting point on time and waited as instructed, but the tour operator simply never showed up. After I contacted them and asked how much longer I had to wait, they finally realized that they had somehow missed my booking. This was not a minor mistake or a case where the tour simply did not meet my expectations. The tour never happened at all, and I lost an entire day of my limited vacation time because of this serious failure. I understand that mistakes can happen, but for a tour operator to completely miss a confirmed booking and leave a traveler waiting at the meeting point is a very serious service failure. A simple apology and refund may resolve the financial transaction, but it does not give me back the valuable day of my overseas trip that was wasted. I am extremely disappointed that such a serious mistake can apparently be treated as simply a refund issue. When travelers book an organized tour abroad, they are not only paying for the tour itself — they are also trusting the operator with a part of their limited vacation time. I hope TripAdvisor/Viator and the tour operator take this incident seriously and review how such a basic failure could happen in the first place.

This tour was an excellent experience, particularly due to our guide, Denis, who was most informative. We were picked up at Rovinj and taken to the two hilltop villages both of which are spectacularly located and fascinating. The tour started at 8.00 am and finished at 2.00pm.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide. Radenko really knew the history of Isteria. We could have spent longer in Groznan rather than Motovun (as Groznan was brilliant) but it was well run and it felt a very personable experience. Our guide wasn’t communicated to about the pick up so it wasn’t his fault we were missed at first but he called and picked us up. But we were upgraded to a full day with no charge so that more than made up for it. Excellent service

Our tour guide was rude. Dennis got angry at one point and made us uncomfortable. He had an attitude throughout the entire tour that made us on edge. He also made snide racial remarks against Albanians while we were there.

Great way to see 2 charming towns and get some amazing pics. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave ample time to look around by ourselves.

Super trip with Denis, really knowledgable and passionate about the region. A great combination of the two wonderful hill towns. Denis also recommended an amazing lunch spot - Mondo, the best we’ve had in Croatia. Perfect half day option when weather is very hot.

Viator almost blew the whole thing because Viator repeatedly gave us wrong information about the pick up point. The tour guide, Dennis, couldn’t have been better And was very gracious about our problem. I had my phone off but luckily turn it down after waiting 15 minutes beyond pick up time and there he was calling me from nearby. He said he has explained to the agency many times that he cannot pick people up at that spot because of city traffic regulations. So while the tour guide was great, we have a problem with Viator. Also the Tour listed the two hilltop villages that we wanted to see but did not mention that there would be a third stop in another town, Porec, so that was a surprise. Plus it was and still is billed as a six hour tour but instead was a full nine hours. These seem like big interior communication problems that should be corrected.

Our Guide Denis was excellent & shared with us so much information about the areas & towns we visited and information about the history of and everyday life in Croatia, Thankyou for a wonderful day.

This was well worth it! Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable! She spoke 4 languages and knew the history of Istria. We loved it and short trip from Rovinj. Highly recommend!
