Great experience with very knowledgeable hosts. Food was exceptional with a great variety to help us learn how truffles can be used and cooked.

What a fantastic experience at Miro Tartufi in Croatia! We joined the truffle hunt followed by lunch, and it was truly one of the highlights of our stay in Istria. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome. The truffle hunt was great fun, with excellent guidance and lots of interesting information about truffles, how they are found and the traditions behind truffle hunting. Everything felt very personal, relaxed and authentic. And then came the lunch — absolutely delicious! Beautiful dishes, wonderful flavours and, of course, plenty of fresh truffle. You can really taste the passion and care that goes into the food. A wonderful experience from start to finish. If you are visiting Istria, we highly recommend Miro Tartufi. Great hospitality, an unforgettable truffle hunt and amazing food. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful day on the estate. Booking via Tripadvisor was easy, the directions also work with the transmitted Google Maps data and there are sufficient parking spaces on site. On the one-hour round through the forest we found 2 truffles which were prepared afterwards with the really very delicious meal. At the same time, an incredible amount of knowledge was shared with us! Generally a very friendly and hospitable environment. We felt very comfortable and were more than full!

The expirience was amazing, Mirjana, Miro, Maya and Petra are so welcoming, the food is amazing and I will get back soon!

We had a wonderful experience. The tour was informative and we found truffles. Our kids loved watching the dogs hunt and walking in the woods. The food after was also great - there was a ton of food and it was fun to try the different spreads and oils as well as the eggs cooked with truffles. We would recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about truffles.

Absolutely fabulous experience! We learned so much about truffles during the “hunt”. And the food afterward was excellent as well (there was so much we couldn’t finish it all, so arrive hungry). We would recommend this trip to anyone interested in truffles or who enjoys eating them.

Booking directly was easy and everything was well organised from the start. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome by the warm and friendly family, making it a truly authentic Istrian experience. The truffle hunt was great fun, fascinating and unlike anything I’d done before. It was clear how passionate and knowledgeable the family are, and I learned so much about truffles and the traditions behind hunting them. The gnocchi cooking session was equally enjoyable, and it was wonderful to sit down afterwards and enjoy the delicious meal I’d helped prepare. The food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and the wine was excellent. This was a unique and memorable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Istria.
