Such a great food tour with Hara! She was welcoming, fun and incredibly knowledgeable - not just about Thessaloniki, but about the fascinating history behind its food. She took us to local spots we definitely would never have found on our own and it was clear she has great relationships with the vendors. We also loved all the recommendations she gave us for the rest of our time in Thessaloniki and elsewhere in Greece. We must praise the Ancient Greek god of bougatsa for bringing us to Hara 😂 Highly recommend Hara and this tour if you want to eat, explore and learn about Thessaloniki along the way!

This was a charming and informative tour. Our guide was lovely, attentive, and very experienced. Most importantly, she personalized the experience and information around our interests. We take many food tours and this was one of the best. Highly recommended.

We had a most mémorable evening with Xana. She introduced us to the Lattica area of Thessolaniki. She showed cased foods from different areas of Greece visiting different artisan shops of unique cheeses, cold cuts, spices, olives, olive oils, honey & preserves. Most interestingly is how she closed the cultural gap allowing us interaction with shop keepers proud of their products. We felt truly pulled into the city life. We were no longer tourists observing from the outside.

Had a great day fully exploring local tastes! We enjoyed so much tasting olive oil and olives that we couldn’t find in our place. Bugatsa definitely was a great kick-starter in the tour! During our lunch together, we felt like having a friend accompanying us. I would suggest this tour to anyone that wants a cozy, informative and delicious way to meet Thessaloniki’s downtown area and food culture!

Walking with Hara was simply amazing as she introduced us to the many tastes and flavors of Greece, while also answering many questions as to what life is like living in Greece! We did have some restrictions in our group of 6, which she navigated very respectfully. Best 4 hours in Thesseloniki!

Hara did an amazing job with the tour. It felt like we were just meeting a friend who lives in Thessaloniki. The food was excellent, and the Storytelling was top-notch. She knew the city's history and could put all of the food in context. I also really appreciated that even when we were taken to shops to see the different kinds of wares and try things, there wasn’t any uncomfortable pressure to buy something from that store. Highly recommended!
