Sebastian's tour, perfecto. He was punctual, orderly, pleasant, informative, enthusiastic, and kept a watchful eye ensuring that everyone stayed safe. Loved the tour and narration! (6/11/26)
Amazing experience, Sebastian was an excellent instructor, took us to see the sunset which was out of this world. Plenty of time to explore the quiet canals at the back of Venice, we were told loads of interesting stories whilst we were out. It was surreal kayaking down the canal whilst people were eating and drinking. Excellent instruction, excellent equipment would highly recommend this.
Extremely good experience, it is very beautiful feeling to ride a kayak in the Venetian canals. The guide was very friendly and helpful, he also provides a lot of history about the city. The only mistake I did was first choosing the quick tour which was an hour, definitely go for the longer ones.
The tour guides were kind and helpful. We heard interesting stories as we moved through the canals. I felt safe navigating past motor boats. The best part was seeing the city from the water.
This was the most unique and amazing way to see Venice! My child and I loved cruising (QUIETLY!!) through the canals at night to see the sights, cruising under the bridges, and watching the stars from the water. Shamir was a fantastic, fun, and patient guide for the beginners in our group. Unforgettable experience - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - don't miss it! The only suggestion - add a happy hour kayak or stop at a cafe for a spritz in the evening tour. Might as well celebrate the fact that you are falling in love with Venice!
We really enjoyed the kayaking; our guide grew up in the area and we enjoyed stories. The amount of time is perfect. We paddled around the canals which are not busy in the evenings. Do not hesitate!
Paddling through Venice's canals — including quiet backwaters most visitors never see — was magical, and our local guide brought the city to life with history and stories you won't get from a guidebook. It was a wonderful, active way to experience Venice from the water, and a hit with both the adults and our child. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He looked out for our safety throughout the entire tour.
We did the evening kayak trip and got to see the sunset. It was beautiful, easy pace, and the time flew by. Teresa, our guide, was wonderful.
We were so excited for this trip but it didn't end up being that great. First, you have to get in and out of the kayak through a "hole in the wall" with the help of a rope. (Not easy to do) Then they say you don't need to have kayaking experience, but you definitely need to. You need to stay on one side of the canals because of the other boats. You also go out into the open lagoon, which can be choppy. Both of these things would be great to do if you have ample kayaking experience, and can get in and out of it from above. Our guide (Paolo I think) was so sweet and informative though.
