If you have a day in Salerno make sure you rent a small boat on your own. It was a real pleasure. We stopped in small bays for a swim. The coastline is so beautiful from the seaside. We went all the way to Amalfi. Great service and a great boat !
We were nervous because this place didn't have any reviews, but we had one of the best days of our lives on this boat. They gave us a nicer one than the dinghies pictured. Pros: Incredible views, best day of our lives, no license needed Cons: Asked to return boat by 6pm, fuel was listed as 50 euro but was 80 euro in cash Stuff to know: Bring your passport if you are the renter (they only needed one passport but everyone can drive the boat), they provide you a small cooler which includes ice and a big bottle of water. You can't park and explore towns, so plan for all day on the water. Take motion sickness medication two hours before. You can go to omio.com to find a ferry that will bring you to Salerno if you're not staying in Salerno. Grand total for us was $332 USD for five hours of boating with the fuel surcharge added in. Bring cash.
