Amazing day on the Amalfi Coast! Reached Domenico via email and was immediately answered and arranged for one-day boat rental from the docks in Amalfi. He and his crew got us squared away quick and we were off on the Med - along the coast to Positano for a few hours of food and shopping, then a picnic on the boat about 1/2 mile in front of Positano, then back along the coast toward Salerno for sight seeing and an afternoon on the sea. Drop off at Amalfi was very easy, they had a guy jump on the boat to fill up the gas and dropped us at the small pier - plenty of time to explore Amalfi town, the church, shop and get back to the tender with plenty of time to spare. Very enjoyable day, highlight of our one-day stopover on a cruise. Much easier and less stress than trying to fight the crowds on the ferries. If you know how to drive a boat, this is definitely the way to see the Amalfi Coast!

We really enjoyed renting a boat without a license. It allows for magnificent views of the coast. Especially doing it at our own pace. Very friendly rental company. I recommend this activity

We rented a boat for the two of us and had an absolutely amazing experience! My husband has a boating license, so we didn’t need much explanation, but the staff are very helpful and will explain everything you need to know, including how the boat works, how to anchor, and what to pay attention to during the day. They also give you great advice about where to go, where not to go, and the best places to stop. We arrived early in the morning, and I definitely recommend taking advantage of the full day and starting as early as possible. The value for money is excellent! We spent the entire day on the water and brought our own snacks and drinks, so we didn’t stop for lunch. There is a cooler bag on board, which was really convenient for keeping our water and snacks cold. We paid around €100 extra for fuel after a full day of cruising, which we thought was very reasonable. We had enough time to stop twice for swimming — once near Positano and once in a beautiful bay by one of the islands — and we also went all the way around Capri. The timing was perfect for this itinerary. If you want to have lunch at a restaurant, that’s possible too. You can arrange for the restaurant’s water taxi to pick you up from the boat and take you in. If you want to make several swimming stops AND have a relaxed restaurant lunch, I would recommend starting early and keeping an eye on the time, or possibly skipping Capri so you don’t have to rush. Overall, this was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Cruising along the Amalfi Coast and around Capri on our own was an unforgettable experience. Incredible day, great value for money, and something I would 100% recommend!

We are not boaters but this was so easy to do. It was our favorite day of our 10 days in Italy. The freedom to go up and down the coast and take in the beauty was amazing. We stopped and swam. Had a Boat Bar come by where we bought refreshing snacks. The process of getting the boat and returning was smooth. Highly recommend!
