A wonderful building, superb views and gardens, an excellent guide named Alex, and well-organised transportation from the port.

A taxi picked us up from the gangway to our cruise ship right on time. The journey was smooth and comfortable each way. Our guide Alex Mauri, met us at the entrance to the Alhambra and we could not have wished for someone better. He was knowledgeable but more than that he guided us at a suitable pace and catered to our every need. Conversation between us flowed and we were sorry to wave goodbye. Iechyd Da Alex!

SCAM! Not what you paid high price for! Do not book! I had a major issue today with the tour. First, this tour is advertised as a private tour but it was not! We were with 5 other people who were also shocked to see us as they were expecting a private tour too. We were delayed as we were waiting for the driver to locate two other individuals for the group. Again, we were not supposed to be in a group. Second, at the drop off (once at Alhambra), the tour guide was told by the driver the pickup would be at 1:15pm sharp. We finished the tour and were ready for pickup at 1:15pm. The driver contacted the tour guide to tell her the pickup time had changed to 2pm. We were already outside the exhibit and could not go back in. We raced through some parts of the exhibit when we could have stayed longer. The tour guide was very upset for us as well. 1:15pm was the agreed end time, not 2pm. The tour guide called the agency and spoke to several people. She was hung up on by her own agency several times. My husband had to get on the phone with them and spoke to Abdul. Abdul told us he would call us a cab right away so we would not have to wait. The cab never showed because he did not call a cab. Once the driver finally showed after 2pm, he was on the phone the whole time making personal phone calls. This tour was not presented as advertised and we were treated terribly. The tour guide was so upset for us on how the agency treated us and her! This was absolutely ridiculous!

The ride to Alhambra with Abdel was great and the tour of the palace with Josef was spectacular. It was worth every penny!

Alex out tour guide was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We had an individual in a wheelchair that needed extra care. Alex took extra care of pushing her around and coordinating the tour so that the individual could participate.
