Our driver/guide, Michael, pointed out the important facts as we traveled but let the scenery speak for itself. There are frequent stops for photography and appropriate breaks
What an excellent tour! True, it helped by having a lovely sunny day, but the activities were very good anyway. The Bog village was very interesting and the sheepdog herding was amazing - such control just by commands. The views over Dingle Bay and from our lunch venue were beautiful. Really to be recommended, especially to give the family driver a day off!
Daniel was an amazing driver and tour guide. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate but overall it was great. Loved the sheep herding!

My son and I did the Ring of Kerry on May 28th with Deros Tours. Our driver and guide, Batt (Short for Bartholomew), was engaging and funny and did an exceptional job driving the bus along the narrow, winding roads. We stopped at the Kerry Bog Village and a sheepdog herding demonstration, both of which had a separate admission charge of 8 euros. They were both well worth the additional cost, particularly the sheepdog demo. Despite being overcast much of the day, the Ring of Kerry is absolutely lovely and we were able to get some fine photos. The Ring is over 100 miles of narrow, winding road. There are many wonderful places to stop along the way if you know where to go. Taking the Deros tour was far better than had we decided to drive it ourselves.
We did the Ring of Kerry Tour and Denis was our guide. It was a great day, about a 6 hour tour, just enough! Denis gave us lots of information on each area we travelled through, gave us ample time to explore the areas, and had a nice lunch atop of a mountain overlooking the ocean! We also visited Tom O’Sullivan and his sheep herding dogs and had a fantastic demonstration on how amazing and intelligent these dogs are! I wholeheartedly recommend spending a day doing this tour. We would never have had time tootle out to do it on our own and would have missed this whole area. Thank you Denis!

Batt was an incredible guide. It was A LOT of info but kept us attentive and informed throughout the entire tour- and he has a lovely singing voice! We were so grateful to not have to navigate the roads and try to sight see. All the stops were well timed and in interesting spots.

There are so many Ring of Kerry tour options from Killarney and we are so happy we chose this one. Our guide, Denis, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. When he wasn’t sharing interesting facts about life in rural Ireland or the history of the region, he was playing traditional Irish music which added a lot to the experience. There was ample time to stop at each of the stops to take in the views, a scenic lunch stop, and plenty of time to walk around the lovely village of Sneem. There is so much to see in the Ring of Kerry, but we felt like we got as much out of the experience as possible in such a short time. Highly recommend!
