Our family including my wife and our two adult children loved our full day tour of the Ring of Kerry with our driver and guide, Batt! Batt was wonderful in his telling of stories, sharing the history and even singing songs along the way. We loved the sheep dog demonstration, all stops along the way and the breathtaking scenery. 5/5 for guide and driver. 4/5 for operator. We had a really lovely day and our guide was great. Can't remeber his name, but called himslef King of the Ring! He had us laughing most of the trip. It was a relaxing way to view the Ring of Kerry, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. I do feel that the tour operator was not transparent with the stops that we were going to make en route. We stopped for a rapid visit at The Kerry Bog Village Museum. We basically had 25 min to pay, get in and out. Lovely spot, but it wasn't planned. If that stop is included, it needs to be known and more time. Then we stopped at another random place with a beautiful view, with roadside crafters, which was unnecessary. Lastly, where we had lunch was not where was expected - we only had one option, which would have been an amazing view if it had been clear. Despite the food being good, we were so rushed that we ended up over-paying for a meal. The one unknown stop that was lovely was the sheep-herding demonstration. We had been to one previously with another tour operator, and this one was by far better. I would recommend this tour - the views are amazing.

Batt was our bus driver and tour guide, he is extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of information as well as personal stories about his family and growing up in Ireland. We made many stops along the way to take pictures and have lunch, and even opportunities for a cold beer or hot baileys and coffee, also plenty of souvenir shopping along the way. We had a pretty decent day overall considering we were in Ireland, the morning was a bit cloudy with rain and seeing the low clouds over the mountains was picture worthy. By the end of the tour we had some sunshine and warmer temperatures, more good photos at that point. One of our stops included the chance to see a border collie demonstration where they herd the sheep down the mountain, it has a small admission fee but is absolutely worth it. My family and I really enjoyed the day.

It’s an all day event. Starts at 10:30am, got back around 3:30pm. Stopped for lunch on the tour. Our guide Mike was amazing. Great sense of humor. Helpful and answered all questions.
