I absolutely loved it! Everything was exceptionally well thought out—nothing felt overcrowded or cramped at the tables, and the seating arrangements showed real consideration. The food was magnificent, with just the right portions. While additional drinks were extra, the prices were reasonable, and it was clearly stated. The entertainment was lively, with people up dancing and a fantastic atmosphere throughout. I found the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable—the only downside was that the day seemed to fly by too quickly. Thank you to everyone on board for making my Christmas Day truly splendid

The cruise was well organised and the food was lovely (albeit the vegetarian option was a bit uninspiring), and the entertainer was fabulous. She really worked hard to engage people and create a great mood with carols and then more contemporary music. This cruise is great way to spend Christmas. Two things marred the experience somewhat. One was that at the end of a lovely meal, we were presented with a bill for the water and juice! I understand alcoholic drinks not being included, but at £150 a head, I would expect water and juice to be included. At the very least, people should have been warned; several were fumbling for credit cards and looked stunned to be presented with petty invoices in the context of the event. It spoiled the tone of the day a bit. The second thing that needs to be addressed is the staff proffering a tray for tips as guests exit the ship, embarrassing those who chose not to tip. We were paying guests and it’s not a cheap event. If people wish to tip, that’s fine. But the overt expectation was inappropriate and awkward. Overall a great cruise and I would recommend it. If it weren’t for those two issues, it would have been perfect.

Excellent for Christmas Day in London. The entertainment, service and atmosphere were wonderful. You will be entertained by live music and incredible scenery.

This cruise was perfect in every way! The food was great, the decorations were very nice, the wait staff were so helpful, tho there was a bit of a language barrier but it was still ok. The entertainment was a nice touch and she wasn’t intrusive during the meal. I highly recommend this if you’re in London for Christmas Day!

From the moment you step aboard - not knowing quite what to expect - you are extremely well looked after, treated with friendliness and efficiency by all the staff and royally entertained. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive and the greatest bonus of all is that you get to meet some great fellow guests. The seating is conducive to making contact with your neighbours although it would be possible, if one was so inclined, to be private. Although not a cheap experience (£125 each) it really was excellent value for money. Well done City Cruises.

After being warned that everything is closed in London on Christmas except for hotels and checking around it turns out that there were very limited options available for Christmas day and most of those were very expensive pre set menus around 200 pounds and above per person including the kids! So to find this activity which was a 3 1/2 hour cruise up the Thames River and was all inclusive with the meal and the cruise it was by far the best value we found. It included a glass of champagne and a Christmas Cracker which is the traditional English surprise rolled up with the crown and prize inside. The day was gorgeous and we got great photos up on the deck.

The seating was "theatre style" seats so there was little arm room - but the food was pretty good and the service was fine. Unfortunately our return journey was rather rushed since one of the guests had rather too much to drink and...……!!!

<p>Much better than expected. Great staff and food perfectly acceptable given the circumstances. I lost a couple of thins on the boat but I'm still hoping they might turn up and Esther Cellar in the office has been very helpful.</p>
