This was such a fun day for us!. We took our included tour from the Cruise Line early in the morning and saw the Zip Line location. Once back at our Cruise, we headed out by foot back up the city and arrived at 11:45 for a noon tour. The guides were amazing, helping us get in our gear and explaining the process. The walk down to the first launch passed through a lovely meadow and then the adventure began. It made it more fun that we were with a 3 generation family and another younger couple. We all got along well. The last Zip had the most exciting as the breaking system took quite a bit of coordination! (We survived!!)

Two families of four enjoyed the five zip lines and going across the river. Guides were kind, check in was easy.

Guides were great, Jon was a very personable guy and so frickin interesting. Had cool insight on Iceland and just fun stories about life in that area in general. The zip lining itself was so fun, crossed a pretty river and got to whip through pretty fast. The also showed us some fun tricks to try and ended up upside down on a couple! Would absolutely go again

Easy to access. Friendly guides. Quality equipment. 5 zip lines in all. Somewhat short but a good value.

Such a fun experience! My mom, husband, and I booked this experience less than an hour before going and it did not disappoint. We ended up going with only 1 only person making us a small group of 4. The owner was extremely welcoming and you could tell he is passionate about the business. Our guides, Nika and Duarte, were a huge part of what made the experience great. My mom was nervous about zip lining, but their fun energy, focus on safety, and encouragement gave her more confidence and comfort in doing this! They showed us fun tricks to do (we learned how to go upside down like Spider-Man) and gave us good information about the area. There was minimal and easy walking throughout, so nothing too strenuous. The scenery was breathtaking and the zip lines so fun. We did 5 zip lines in total. We would highly recommend this adventure and are glad we did it! Thank you to Nika and Duarte for going the extra mile to make this day great for us!

I stopped in Akureyri during my cruise through western Iceland and Greenland and have always wanted to zipline in Iceland. It was easily one of the best excursions I made on the trip. The location has beautiful views and the whole experience went way beyond what I expected. It was an easy walk from the port for me, although it was around 45 minutes, and the guides greeted me right away with a quick safety rundown. They were friendly, professional, and clearly loved what they do. I rode all their ziplines and each one offering a slightly different view over the Glerárgil River and canyon. Flying above the water and looking down at the scenery was incredible with equal parts peaceful and thrilling. The guides were entertaining and sharing their personal immigration stories to Iceland and their other jobs. They also made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. What I really liked was how approachable the experience was. It’s perfect for beginners but still exciting enough for anyone who loves adventure. Afterward, the owners arrived and gave me tips on where to eat and what to see around Akureyri, which added such a personal touch. If you’re visiting Akureyri, this is an absolute must. It’s the perfect mix of nature, excitement, and genuine Icelandic hospitality. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

5.0 out of 5.0. Engaging and thrilling experience. We were safely taken through all safety procedures. We were given instructions on how to perform additional moves on the zip line. This was well worth the money.

What an amazing experience!! Guides Elfa and Sabrina were so friendly, helpful, and a knowledgeable. The ziplines are so much fun and over a stunning river. Highly recommend! Walked from cruise port, it is up hill and took about 45min. It’s do able.

The father/daughter team was wonderful! We were a small group, just 3 people. They treated us wonderfully! Both are friendly, kinda and very knowledgeable. We hiked to each zip line, about 3-4 minutes each time. On our way we learned some history of the area and even learned a bit about the language. It was a wonderful experience!!

Absolutely wonderful adventure! You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a multiple range of ziplining experiences! The guides were super informative, funny, and kept us safe the entire time!
