Dear Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear that your experience was ruined by the freezing rain and that the tour did not match what you expected. Standing out in 45-degree weather during a downpour is incredibly uncomfortable, and I completely understand your frustration and why you chose to leave early. While the historic interior and the crypt are key parts of the itinerary, the tour is structured to cover the fascinating architecture and history of the exterior before heading inside. However, when the weather takes a turn like that, adapting the flow to keep you warm and dry should be the priority. I am immediately looking into how we can better handle sudden bad weather days to ensure our guests aren't left stranded in the freezing rain.
