Great pilot! Landing to see geo thermal activity was phenomenal. Easy to get to meeting point from hotel.

We have booked with Glacier Heli , it was an excellent experience, better then I expected. The pilot was so experienced and we had a stable take off and landing. We have booked for 4 pm , but the tour operator ( Glacier Heli) went the extra mile to call us before time and tell us the weather condition would be not a good for flying at our chosen time . We loved their initiative as we would not be able to do the trip the next day....Well recommended.

You need to have good weather, so you get the chance to land on the eruption site. Altogether much recommended experience worth the money for sure.

That helicopter tour exceeded our expectations. The pilot was friendly and very knowledgeable about Iceland’s volcanic history. Not only did we fly over all the volcanoes, but they also made a short stop so we could walk on one of them—which was a very pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend booking with this company; they were communicative throughout the entire process as well.

First of all I got very lucky! I was headed to Iceland to see a local world know band playing in their home environment. Upon landing, I saw an opportunity to explore a volcano by the air. Wow! Amazing and what an adventure. Plus, being quite tall I was placed in the best possible seat! Up front!!! The staff was all about safely, comfort, and convenience. I don’t know it’s taken me this long to write about it, but the few people who stumble across my Instagram tell me how lucky I was to get that your last minute. If you have a chance, do it!!!! Thank you!

Phenomenal experience even without seeing any molten lava flow. We had a beautiful day for our first helicopter ride and it was definitely one of the highlights of our first trip to Iceland! We are glad we booked it on our second day after seeing the Lava Show on our first day. We felt safe with our pilot, Phillip, who was also an amazing tour guide! Being able to walk out on the harden "newer" lava fields was memorable!

We had a really fun experience in early August. Short but exhilarating flight over the lava fields and stopped to look around. Great guide.

Hey friends, Here a Venezuelan, as a Southamerican and Caribbean man, all life dreaming to know Iceland. I didn’t know about this activity to do in the country, But for real was the best experience. Speedy was a good host and the Hungarian Pilot is so friendly and professional. I think it’s been one of the best activities that I made on 2026. Guys of course I will be back in Iceland. We had a super great flight with a landing on the volcanic crater. Our pilot informed us very well and reported on the eruption that had occurred shortly before and the lava flows. We had fascinating views and insights. An all-around fascinating experience. Highly recommended!
