The helicopter tour was an amazing experience to see the volcanic eruption, the pilot explained things and flew over the eruption several times to make sure passengers on both sides of the cabin would get a good view. Our departure was delayed a bit while waiting for the fuel truck to arrive, but once we got going it was a geographer's (tourist's) dream to fly over an erupting volcano. Professional but personable service by ground staff and pilot. Thank you!

An unforgettable experience! We absolutely loved our helicopter tour over the volcanoes near Reykjavik. The views were simply breathtaking, with incredible landscapes, stunning craters, and amazing lava flows visible from above. Our pilot was very friendly, professional, and made the experience even better with his knowledge and passion for the area. Flying over Iceland’s volcanic scenery was a truly unique and memorable adventure. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Iceland — it’s a must-do!

One of the highlights of the trip, for sure. Our original booking was a washout with the weather, so they worked with us to reschedule while we were still in town (and maybe with a partner operator? not sure). GREAT TRIP. the pilot, Thor, was very knowledgeable of the site, and he landed us right in the middle of the lava fields (only steam areas during our visit). fabulous experience.

Seeing Iceland from the air was breathtaking. The volcanic landscape looked otherworldly and gave me a completely different appreciation for the island's geology. The pilot was professional, knowledgeable, and made the experience unforgettable.

we planned our trip well before the eruption but it was in progress when we arrived and when checking in to our hotel they recommended this helicopter tour.... it was amazing. I was concerned re safety (brought my son) but I was impressed with the attention to detail and clear interaction with air traffic control and contact with other craft in the area. This was impressively coordinated not a quickie tour but an organized effort with exceptional interaction and coordination. Tour was long and we just happened to time it for around sunset adding to the spectacle. One of the top lifetime travel events. enjoyed watching and got some incredible video on my phone but it was the visual that stays with me. careful, safe, longer and more detailed then I expected with tour over prior eruption areas as well from someone who really seemed to care.

Our pilot was Arron and he was exceptionally perfect. Super windy but always felt safe and secure. Be flexible because weather is very unpredictable and safety is always first. This was the best helicopter tour we have ever done and the sights were amazing. Seeing into a volcano is something everyone should do once in their lifetime. Book this tour!!!
