Lots of fun 🤩 and very informative. The guide is very knowledgeable! Would definitely go on this excursion again…
We had a great time. Our tour guide Niko did an excellent job, showing us around the island, he also shared some important facts about the Bahamas. Great time and a great vibe
Our pickup was easy and convenient, although we did have to wait in the vehicle for about 20 minutes while our driver stepped away. Once we got going, our driver was friendly throughout the tour. Unfortunately, the tour itself was underwhelming. Many of the stops seemed centered around shopping opportunities rather than sightseeing. For example, the rum cake factory and tea shop were advertised as places where we’d receive complimentary tastings, but those tastings are available to anyone who walks in without booking a tour. At nearly every stop, there was an expectation that you’d purchase something. We never felt pressured, but it definitely seemed to be part of the entire experience. The Queen’s Staircase was nice to see, but it’s also a location that’s easy to visit on your own without paying for a guided tour. Overall, Nassau just wasn’t a destination that stood out to us. We didn’t find many memorable attractions, and we don’t feel the need to return. If we visit again on a cruise, we’d likely skip the tour and either spend the day at the beach or simply enjoy the ship instead. The cost for the tour was not worth it for our family.
Our driver was very friendly and very helpful, but we booked this excursion based on its offering of WiFi and air conditioning. Neither were working.
This tour was amazing full of laughter fun and a lot of cultural history. Nikko our tour guide was amazing very attentive gave us the most time to enjoy each stop and when we wanted to leave and head to the next stop he was down for whatever please book this tour.
Our guide was late to start the tour. I had to borrow a phone from another company's tour guide to call the company because there was no communication about him being late. He started off nice and friendly, but as the tour progressed he told us fewer and fewer things. At one point we had to stop for gas (which was a bit strange but okay) and I asked about if the gas stations on the island were all required to be full service, and I got a very gruff one word answer. He spent a lot of time complaining that we weren't very responsive to him, but then when we would ask questions he would give very short answers. We only saw one fort, and I know that one is under renovations currently, but then that should be disclosed in the tour info! No clue what happened to that third fort. We never stopped at Junkanoo Beach either. There was a waterfront view from Fort Montagu, so at least we got some beautiful scenery there. The rum cake factory was very rushed, and I figured we wouldnt see much of the baking process but I barely had time to make a decision about what to buy to take home for a souvenir. The Queen's Staircase and John Watling's Distillery were both great, and the guide at the distillery taught us more in 8 minutes than our Viking guide did all day. The food at the fish fry was good but very expensive. $100 USD for three people to eat basically pub food is ridiculous. I wanted to learn more about the history of Nassau, and we did learn some things but it was very obvious that as the tour went on, our guide lost interest in his own tour. Also the van's air conditioning barely worked and the included bottle of water was given to us warm, even though he had to stop at a store to get the water. I'm glad I brought water with me and a fan because otherwise I would have melted in the heat
This was a terrible tour. Didn't get to see the places that tour said we would. The best was the Queen's Staircase. Finding the bus was chaotic...so much confusion. We thought we were going to miss it entirely. No communication and Not organized. It was over 30 minutes late leaving and didnt make up for the time. We never got bottled water. We only got to visit 1 fort not 3. We got to visit Queen's Staircase, 1 Fort, rum cake, and distillery. We never even got to go to the beach which was was supposed to be 45 minutes. When I asked tour guide said its over there we passed it...ugh. Even with starting late he drove really slowly through areas and showed and told us about buildings that USED to be there. Not what I wanted or paid for. So very disappointed with this exucrsion!!!!!!!
The tour guide was very nice and bus was clean with A/C which is needed for Summer heat! However there was only 1 sample which was small piece of rum cake. And we were not a fan of the Twin Brothers restaurant at Fish Fry, food wasn’t seasoned.
Tour was good. Spots were crowded ofc not the fault of the tour operator or guide. Tour started late though. It was good.
Our guide, Don, was great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He really made the experience easy and fun. He arrived early and was as flexible with what we wanted to do.
