Dreadful.. crass, swearing and very underwhelming Left after 30 mins

1 star, do not recommend, I was so excited for this show because i love the film and Michael Keaton but was sorely disappointed. Amateur production felt like i was watching a school play. It was nothing like the film, the songs had nothing about them at all and all felt the same and weren't enjoyable, the characters were non engaging!! The constant swearing, cheap jokes, niche pop culture references and over the top acting made it feel like I was watching a pantomime. Unfortunately me and my husband looked at eachother with the same look after about 20 minutes and Couldn't wait for the interval so we could leave which we've never done before having watched plenty of shows in the west end. Truthfully I think if you are a fan of the movie then avoid this musical at all costs. Read less Value for money

This show is one of the bedt we have rver seen in the west end very funny and a lot different from the film. The cast are brilliant and gel so well , top quality everyone should go and watch this great funny exiting show

Absolutely fantastic! So much fun, very clever humour, incredibly talented cast, staging was next to none.

I’ve seen a lot of west end musicals and honestly this is up there as one of the best ! I thought it would be good but i honestly didnt Expect to be wowed but what performances from the cast and a very funny script. The leads are AMAZING as are all the casts thinking of going again and taking my son as it was just so good and I’ve only ever done a show twice

Went to see Beetlejuice the Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The whole production is completely bonkers in the best possible way! The humour is brilliantly dark, the music is incredibly catchy and the energy from the cast never seems to drop. It manages to be hilarious, chaotic and surprisingly heartfelt all at the same time. The set design, costumes, lighting and special effects were outstanding. Visually there is constantly something happening, and the way the stage transforms throughout the show is seriously impressive. The performances were superb across the board, particularly Beetlejuice himself, absolutely superb! Even the Prince Edward Theatre is a nice intimate venue! If you enjoy musicals that are a little different, funny, energetic and visually spot on then this is a must see! One of the most entertaining West End shows we’ve seen – 5 stars without question! 🪲💚🎭

Slightly disappointed with this production. Avid theatre goer and perhaps Beetlejuice just isn’t my thing. I went with my 13 year old who knew all the songs but sadly she was also underwhelmed. Some swearing and other more adult themes but would say appropriate for 13plus. If you are a fan of Beetlejuice specifically then this may be a good production for you. There was some good singers. Massive negative was the queue for the ladies. Only about 4 toilets for the entire royal circle. Although nice certainly not enough!

I loved loved this show! Different, hilarious, great voices and highly entertaining. Would def recommend but not for young kids or those offended by swearing 😆

Absolutely brilliant show, an incredible experience from start to finish. Funny, sad, happy, and all while addressing death - absolutely brilliant!! Sat in stalls row X and had a perfect view for a really reasonable cost. Would highly recommend

So it’s not cheap but wow! This has been the best audience reaction of all the theatre trips I’ve had in the uk. The cast are All amazing. The singing, dancing, ensemble, main cast, jokes, just brilliant! As normal to Uk theatres the food and drink are so expensive. We were able to take water in as it was hot and just had to take a sip. As a warning they will not let you take other food or drink in and they were taking it from people. We loved it!
