Our family had a really enjoyable day visiting Florence and Pisa from the cruise port. The pickup and drop-off arrangement outside the cruise terminal made the morning much easier, especially with everyone trying to get organized before heading out. We had enough free time in Florence to explore at our own pace, take some photos, and have a quick look around the main areas without feeling constantly rushed. Later, we continued to Pisa and had time to see the famous Leaning Tower and walk around the square. The guide in Florence was friendly and helpful without overwhelming us with too much information. For a cruise excursion, the return timing was one of the things that gave us the most peace of mind. The schedule felt well planned and we never felt like we were cutting it too close to getting back to the ship. Customer support was also available when we had a question before the excursion. You could tell immediately that he does his job with heart and really cares about his guests. The short breaks before Florence and before Pisa (for the restroom and water) were also well planned. Florence and Pisa themselves were of course impressive, but it was above all the relaxed and well-organized atmosphere of the entire tour that made the day so special. The bus was comfortable and sufficiently large. Can only highly recommend this trip – and especially Lorenzo as a guide!

Given the nature of the trip, it is understandable that the stays in each location are relatively brief. If you're travelling by cruiseship and want to see both locations, this excursion will do just that. However, if travelling by other means, separating the visits of each location into two dedicated allotments would allow for a more in-depth and fullsome experience of each location.
