Great tour for our first day in New Zealand; we explored the fern-filled forest to see a waterfall and waded in the waters of Piha beach. Our tour guide, Moha, was friendly and safety minded. We appreciated chatting with him and he inspired us to visit to ferry to Devonport to see the amazing tree and view from Victoria mountain. We actually hopped on the ferry that night and thoroughly enjoyed the quaint city strip. Thank you, Moha, for a fun and memorable first day in NZ!

We ended up getting a private tour and it was really lovely! Jon was a great driver/guide and was really helpful during the trek to view Kitekite Falls. Highly recommended if you’re in Auckland!

Great Day, Great Guide
We did the West Coast Discovery tour from Auckland. The tour started directly from our hotel where we were picked up by our guide, Adil. We were the only ones, which made the entire tour go quicker even though we had plenty of time at each destination. We appreciated that on our way back, Adil took a route back that allowed us to see a few other things and take advantage of the extra time available. Adil is very knowledgeable and personable. We were well cared for throughout. The van was comfortable and clean. The views on this tour are stunning. We highly recommend this tour, Aukland and Beyond Tours, and Adil, specifically.

Spectacular scenery, dream beach, and waterfall
The ride in the comfortable van to Piha was very entertaining. After a short lookout point, we were all able to enjoy the dreamlike beach for half an hour. After that, we continued quickly and Jon hiked with us through the jungle, past kauri trees and over the turquoise-blue creek, to the waterfalls. The paths are sometimes a bit wet and slippery, but Jon is very attentive and helpful. Good shoes are an advantage! The snacks after the tour were good. An all-around successful excursion!

A tripful of discovery and wonder!
A great discovery tour of the west coast of Auckland - a world that is so uniquely special and different to the city that is completely accessible.
The trio of experiences on this tour were complementary (mountain ranges and viewpoints, black sand beaches, waterfalls) and impressively gorgeous!
Our driver/guide, David, was a fount of information and insight!

great day and great company!
We were very lucky to spend our day with Andy.
It was just us (a couple) and another person - so we had a feeling this was more like a private tour :)
Andy was great - such a kind person with a knowledge about the country.
Got picked and dropped directly from and to our hotel. The van was comfortable. We learned a lot and got to enjoy meat pies in a small local cafe.
The beach is spectacular. Waterfall is great. Waitakere Ranges and Visitor Center informing and relaxing.

Beautiful day in Waitakere Ranges
West cost discovery tour at 3.4.26 with Paolo.
It was a very interesting tour, Paolo is a very good tour guide and driver. He explained a lot, we could understand him very well!
