探検するには準備が必要です: エチミアジン大聖堂 - すべてのアルメニア人の宗教の中心地。アルメニアは 301 年にキリスト教を国教として採用した世界初の国です。大聖堂は 2000 年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録されました。
ユネスコの世界遺産に登録されているフリプシメ教会は、618 年にカトリコス コミタスの命令により建てられました。フリプシメの伝説はキリスト教の初期の時代に遡ります。フリプシメはローマ皇帝ディオクレティアヌスの迫害から逃れるためにアルメニアに逃げました。美しくもキリストに完全に献身的な信者であったフリプシメは、異教徒のアルメニア王トルダト 3 世との結婚を拒否し、殉教の死を選びました。彼女が殺害された場所には小さな礼拝堂が建てられました。7 世紀には、カトリコス コミタスの命令により、アルメニア建築の傑作である素晴らしい教会がその場所に建てられました。
また、7 世紀に建てられた中世アルメニアの大聖堂の 1 つであるズヴァルトノツ大聖堂も訪れます。ズヴァルトノツ寺院の遺跡はユネスコの世界遺産に指定されています。
チャレンツ門。アララト山の最も美しい景色を眺めることができる場所です。
ゲガルドは、ユネスコの世界遺産に登録されている中世の修道院です。伝説によると、ゲガルド修道院は 4 世紀に聖グレゴリーによって聖なる泉の場所に建てられました。現在の修道院の建造物は、部分的に岩に掘られており、13 世紀に遡ります。建造物の独特の特徴は、その厳粛さと、断崖と湾曲した崖に囲まれた渓谷の壮大な自然の景観に反映されています。
ガルニ神殿は、コーカサス地方全体で唯一保存されている異教の神殿です。この神殿の建設は 1 世紀後半に遡り、太陽神に捧げられました。アルメニアがキリスト教化されてからは、この神殿は王家の住居として使用されました。

Thank you for two wonderful days in which our very competent, friendly and funny guide Nazeli showed us several destinations such as Garni or Noravank. The drive to the destinations was in a cozy van, we got a lot of information on site, could observe wonderful places and especially fascinating nature and were also deliciously tasted.
