この8〜9時間のツアーでは、アルメニアの使徒教会の主要な大聖堂であり、世界で最初のキリスト教大聖堂（外から）であるエヒミアジンマザー大聖堂を訪れます。ユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。エキミアジンにある3つの教会の1つである聖ガヤネ教会と聖ヒプシメ教会もご覧ください。 7世紀に建てられた聖グレゴリーの中世の寺院、ズヴァルトノッツに立ち寄ります。当時の最も高い建物（45-49m）の1つでした。今日、寺院の遺跡はズヴァルトノツで見ることができます。アルメニアに存在する唯一の異教の寺院であるガルニを訪れてから、洞窟に刻まれた複合体であるゲガルト修道院に移動します。 すべての観光スポットはユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。

聖フリプシメ教会はエチミアジン市の有名な教会建築の一つである。 これはアルメニアのクロスキューポラ教会の発達した完璧な例である。 教会は建築の簡素さとロフト感で注目に値する。 キリスト教の殉教者聖母フリプシメの墓は教会の聖具室にある。 ユネスコの世界文化遺産リストに登録されている。
この素晴らしい寺院は、7世紀のアルメニア人建築家の巧みさと勇敢な創造性の賜物です。 いくつかの柱の上に建てられ、10世紀までしか生き残ることができなかった。 20世紀初頭にこの場所が発掘されていたとき、多くの専門家は、有名なアルメニア人建築家トロス・トラマニャンによって設計されたその再建モデルを、当時このような巨大で複雑な建築ができたとは信じがたく、驚くべきことに、当時パリのサン・シャペル教会のバスレリーフの1つがトラマニャンのバージョンを証明するためにやってきた; バスレリーフにはノアの方舟を持つズヴァルトノツ寺院が描かれており、建築家に代表されるモデルのように見える。 ユネスコの文化遺産リストに登録されている。
三角形の岬の上にそびえ立つガルニ神殿は、アルメニアにおける異教徒文化のユニークな残存例である。 グレコローマン様式とアルメニア様式の融合である。 初代トルダット王は紀元1世紀に神殿の建設を命じ、太陽の神に捧げました。301年にキリスト教を採用した後、異教の神殿は存在意義を失い、ガルニの要塞は王の夏の住居となりました。 現在、王宮の廃墟と見事なモザイク細工が施されたバスルームは寺院の近くにあります。
ゲガルド修道院は13世紀のアルメニア建築の傑出した傑作である。 複合体の教会のいくつかは巨岩に巧みに吊り下げられている。 ローマ兵がイエス・キリストの脇腹を刺すために用いたランスが、何世紀にもわたってこの修道院に保管されていたため、この複合体は初めからアイリヴァンク（洞窟修道院）と呼ばれ、後にゲガルド（槍）と改名された。 ゲガルダヴァンクは、その構造上、スピリチュアルな歌を歌うのに最適な場所となっている。 この複合施設は、微妙な彫刻的装飾に富み、多くの印象的なカッカル（十字架石）がある。 ユネスコの世界文化遺産リストに登録されている。

We actually did a different tour to the Alphabet monument and then headed to the Lori region and visited the fortress at Lori, Parni Castle, Haghpat monastery. We stayed overnight in Lori and then the next day we went to Etchmiadzin Cathedral and museum. Our tour guide Anoush was very good. Spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. Our driver Hayk was also great and his driving was excellent. Thank you both for an amazing experience.

I only had a few days in Yerevan. Whilst I wanted to explore the city centre myself, I also wanted to go on an tour that would efficiently cover as many of the important sites that were a little further away from the city centre as possible in one day. To get a better understanding of the sites we visited, I chose the option to have a guide. Tamara (our guide) and Hovo (our driver) were both absolute professionals and made the day really special and memorable for us. Initially there was something wrong with our booking, but Tamara quickly solved the issue and got us back on track without any stress. She gave us some great information about the different sites that we would have been oblivious to if we had gone without a guide. We also had loads of questions for her about Armenia whilst we were travelling between the sites which she always enthusiastically answered. Tamara made sure that we explored the sites at our own pace, and we never felt rushed in any way. She also gave us a great recommendation for lunch - I had initially been planning to skip lunch, but I’m so glad I didn’t in the end! I would absolutely recommend the guided tour to anyone visiting Yerevan. It was a great way to efficiently cover a load of important sites and get some great information about them. Even if someone only had a day in Yerevan, I would recommend spending it doing this.
