We had the most amazing day! Everything we did meet or exceeded our expectations. Tony picked us up promptly from our hotel and took us to a grocery store to get bug repellent. We had a peaceful drive, looking at Costa Rica's beautiful scenery, on our way to Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio. Once we arrived, there was a cost friendly souvenir shop for us shop at (we requested) and then we hiked through the beautiful jungle rain forest. Tony was very experienced and knowledgeable about the wildlife. The hike was mostly easy, and we agree, most people can do it. My husband and I are in our 60s and not that physically active. We did fine. My son is really large and struggled a bit, but Tony went at a very easy and relaxed pace. Next we went to lunch at a wonderful roadside stop. The food was traditional Costa Rican and absolutely delicious! Next, we drive to the Rio Celeste River where we hopped on inner tubes and had the time of our lives going down the river! It's a nice long ride! After that, we went to a sloth sanctuary and were even more amazed! We saw a sloth on small tree just a foot away from us! We also saw some in the top of high trees. We saw a spider monkey playing in the trees as well. There were Toucans flying all over and beautiful colored frogs on the leaves. That tour guide was also extremely keen and knowledgeable. From beginning to end, Guanacaste Tour Company Celeste Tour + Rainforest + Tubing + Sloth Sanctuary was spectacular!

Unfortunately due to rain we were not able to attend RIO Celeste or tubing event. We did go to the sloth sanctuary and saw sloths, red eyed toad, snakes and a Tabor. Our guide ,Wilbur offered us another tour in to replace these. We then went to La hornilla hot spring which was lovely Wilbur was informative and entertaining during our time with him
