A full day of seeing very interesting places, plus the bonus of travelling into France. If you have ever wondered what Biarritz is like, now is the time to find out. And no problems going over the border.
All 3 destinations were worth visiting. Approximately 1 hour was spent in each of the two French towns, with most time being spent in San Sabastian where we also had lunch in a recommended pintxo bar which was an experience in itself.
The guide Oni, who was Basque, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable particularly on Basque culture which was an added bonus!

A great stress free day trip from Bilbao
This was a really great day. Cure brewery guide was especially good. Both towns we visited were short, which we knew beforehand, and a treat on a day trip from Bilbao as not easy to get to by public transport independently.

Disappointed
Not clear where to meet. Lots of people on different tours. Guide arrived after meeting time. First tasting and tour was ok. Second tour was not to an active winery but to a museum(not as expected) The first wine was not drinkable. Tour guide was late in arriving back which meant we had no time to visit the Guggenheim hotel as promised. Very disappointing overall and not good value for money.

Regarding the meeting point, we understand that it may have been confusing, especially with several groups and tours gathering in the same area. Due to the large number of people at the meeting point, the guide was slightly delayed in locating and collecting the group, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
We would also like to clarify that the second visit was to a traditional family-run winery, not a museum. During the visit, the winery staff explained their winemaking process and the history of the winery, followed by a tasting of two of their wines. We are sorry if this was not what you expected, but we would like to assure you that a museum was not part of the itinerary.
There was also a slight delay at lunchtime, as some guests took longer than expected, which meant that we left Laguardia later than scheduled. Unfortunately, this affected the timing of the afternoon.
Regarding the Guggenheim Hotel/Marqués de Riscal, we would like to clarify that the hotel is not a scheduled stop on this tour. We pass by Marqués de Riscal by road, allowing guests to see the famous building from the outside as part of a panoramic drive. The tour does not include a visit inside the hotel, as the hotel itself cannot be visited in this way. The winery visit is separate from the iconic building, and unfortunately there was not enough time for an additional stop.
We are genuinely sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. We always aim to provide an enjoyable and well-organized tour, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve the experience for future guests.

Great day out with lots of variety
Great day out. Daniel our guide was excellent and the stops and options were lovely. Not rushed with plenty of variety, several glasses of wine and some interesting places to visit.

Interesting trip
The trip was not bad, but honestly I expected more. While visiting winery yi expect more than one (small) glass one wine. I have to say, that the visit of the first winery, Cune, despite being one of the largest producers in Rioja, was really great especially because of our guide there. The second winery in Laguardia, El Fabulista, was interesting due to its historical cellars but the wine was low quality. The so called photostop is not even at Marques de Rizcal, just near it and you cannot see thw whole building. I also expected a small group of tourusts, but in fact we travelled by bus abd were about 20.

We would like to clarify that this is a regular sightseeing tour, rather than a private wine-tasting experience. The excursion includes visits to two wineries—one historic and one family-run—with wine tastings, but it is not designed as an exclusively wine-focused tour or a specialized wine tasting.
Regarding the group size, we do not operate very large groups with a single guide. However, as this is a regular shared tour, the group can be around 20 people. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our tours.

Great day at the Wineries
The visit of Haro felt a bit rushed, but also didn't really feel like we missed much, it's a small village after all. LaGuardia was by far more interesting and we spent more time there.
Our primary guide was great, and answered many questions I had for the tour but also local Bilbao knowledge on the way back like the best beach to day trip and how to get there. He even had a spare metropass which he gifted me as it gave massive saving for the metro.
The winery specific guides were great as well, super knowledgeable and you could tell they had passion for their job and their towns. The wines we tried were great as well. The included snacks were maybe the biggest let down, but the cheese was good.

We liked visiting Haro...
We liked visiting Haro and Laguardia - both are very pretty little medieval towns. The wineries we visited were also very different, Cune being a larger distributor and El Fabulista being a smaller family run winery. The facilities at both were very interesting and unique to each other, though the tour content overlapped a fair bit. I am glad we had an air conditioned coach van to take us through the countryside rather than driving ourselves, which was beautiful.
I wish we had gotten a little more information about Rioja history and the unique features of the wine and the region.
