リオハ アラベサのワイナリーと中世の村を巡る日帰り旅行

We had the opportunity to visit La Rioja Wine Region, Biarritz and Lourdes on day tours and Alex was our tour guide and driver. He took excellent care of us and could not be more professional and friendly. His choices of Bodegas (Wineries) were very good as well as the restaurants for lunch. Biarritz was lovely and Lourdes is an amazing place to visit. We are very happy with the memories created and Alex is part of them. I will refer Alex to all our friends when visiting the Basque Country for his knowledge, safety and great character.

Our first Viator wine tour was in Tuscany in 2019, and it was fantastic. Based on that positive experience we booked a Viator trip to Rioja. Our guide/driver Alex was very knowledgable on Spanish wines and spoke excellent English. He drove us through the mountains to visit four Rioja wineries. Alex was helpful in advising us what to buy from both a quality and value standpoint. The first three wineries were all family-owned, quality producers that offered a more personal experience. Each was unique in their own way. The fourth was Marques de Riscal, a large, renowned winery with global distribution, where we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch.

We did the Rioha wine tour for our honeymoon and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Alex was the best tour guide, he was super knowledgeable about the region, the wine, San Sabastian (where we were staying) and basque culture. We went to 4 unique and beautiful wineries and got to taste some amazing wine. We felt it was great value for the money and would absolutely recommend this tour!

It's curious, good wine, relatively new. The staff is extremely nice and the setting, the station neighborhood, is great. You can have a full day also visiting other wineries and Haro.

Truly spectacular- the highlight of our trip was the day spent with Alex. His organization of the day, transportation, wealth of knowledge, and locations were phenomenal. Our party of 10 was accommodated to top notch tastings and sights, memories made for a lifetime.

What a fantastic trip to Rioja we had with San Sebastian Trip! Alex, our guide and driver picked us up at the hotel and we drove through beautiful countryside to Haro in Rioja. Here we visited 3 wineries where we had a wine tasting and got good information from local guides. The trip then stopped at a medieval town before we finished with a very good lunch. We give Alex and San Sebastian our best recommendations! Top! Vivi, Astrid, Anna & Kari

Alex picked us up on time. His van is very comfortable and he is a good driver. We liked the combination of wineries, pintxos and sightseeing in Rioja, it was the right mix. Alex was knowledgeable and personable! A very good day, I would highly recommend this activity!

This was a full day of wine tasting, pintxos and sightseeing. All great! Most of all our tour guide Alex was excellent! He is very personable, knowledgeable and went out of his way to allow us to have the best experience! We liked the Gomez-Cruzado winery the best as far as traditional wine tasting experience. We really enjoyed visiting local small towns too. Thank you very much!

This was a fabulous tour and Alex was great! He was very patient and very accommodating to our requests. We told him that we are big on food and he went above and beyond to make sure that our bellies are full as we sample the finest Rioja wine! He is also very warm and full of wonderful stories.
