Our guide Gabriel was great, and extremely knowledgeable. Other guests asked all variety of questions and he had a solid command of local history and the wider context. He is a master's student but not in history though that did not seem to be an issue. I'm quite comfortable on a bike and think only those that don't bike at all as adults could struggle and then only on the few minor hills. Beautiful city!

A bike tour is the perfect way to see Brussels, since the interesting parts can be far apart from each other. The tour starts at Grand Palace with a little bit of history & then the biking portion is 3.15h with 1h of actual riding for a total of 9km & 127m elevation gain. There is only one part where it gets very steep, but there is an option to use the lift there, so it shouldn’t be a bother. There was also a 30 minute break near a food market/pubs which was very nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable & we covered almost everything to see in Brussels like the EU buildings, palaces, etc.
