From booking straight through to drop off, everything was excellent.
The pick up was easy to find and the bus, being air-conditioned, was really comfortable and the journey to the Caminito was really smooth. The driver was really good around those country roads and bends.
Our guide, Louis, was gentle with his bitesize snippets of the history of the Caminito.
The trail itself is gentle and you can be any age or ability to do this - trust me, I have chronic sciatica and I managed it no probs.
I do have a fear of heights and it was scary at times but everything is safely built and secure.
It is an amazing achievement to have built this trail and the two suspension bridges are epic! I was proud of myself for having crossed the first one at 160m above the river.
It must be seen to be beleived and to see the ancient geology was amazing!!!
There is a nice little area at the end of the walk to have snacks e.g. hot dogs, burgers etc and you're able to buy souvenirs.
Overall, this is a must do activity when you visit Malaga, especially on a Sunday as the city is very quiet.
10/10!!!

Love the site, the tour was lacking
Caminito del Rey is fabulous and should not be missed. Our issue was with the tour itself. We could not hear anything but garbled sounds the entire three hour walk. Most people in our group simply removed their headphones. The half hour stop right after leaving Malaga to make us buy things at a store was absolutely ridiculous. But the biggest issue was the absolute zero information we received because we couldn’t hear.

Highly recommended!
The guide Enrique had a sense of humor, was interesting, and was very fluent in English and German.
The guide during the tour was also very much appreciated. Super beautiful scenery. Very beautiful experience.
Highly recommended.

You’ve got to do it!
A full bus from Malaga and an hours bus journey to get there. A long walk from bus to start, a long, long walk along the cliffs and a long walk back to bus!
Exilerating views and a cheeky happy guide made it a great day.

Somewhat disappointing excursion
The route is overrated. Only the sections with walkways and suspension bridges are worth it; the rest is just filling time with explanations about the engineer and the local structures until it reaches three hours, when it can be done in about 50 minutes. The guide was pleasant and fun. There is a pre-established stop before arriving at the place at an arranged bar where a lot of time is wasted.

Pure emotion
Beautiful experience, absolutely a must-do if you are in Malaga. Not dangerous at all, but at the end of the route there is a stretch on the road to do that turns out to be a bit more tiring because it is slightly uphill and in the sun, but still doable.

Unforgettable experience
Amazing experience. Frederika was our guide on the road, and Cristobal on the Caminito.
Cristobal is a great guide, very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor. I really enjoyed the tour under his guidance. Feel free to ask him whatever, I'm sure he'll know the answer.
Frederika was also our ray of sunshine, making sure everything run smoothly.
I won't forget Peter, our excellent bus driver. :)
Def. adventure worth coming.

An Unforgettable Experience at Caminito del Rey
I thoroughly enjoyed walking the Caminito del Rey and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my visit to the Costa del Sol.
The walk itself was exceptional. The spectacular cliffside pathways, dramatic gorge and breathtaking scenery make this a truly unforgettable experience. There is something incredibly special about walking through this landscape and experiencing the Caminito from such a unique perspective. It was an adventure I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.
My only criticism would be the organisation at the entry point. It felt somewhat disorganised, particularly as there didn’t appear to be much adherence to the start times specified on the tickets. A clearer system for managing entry times would make the experience considerably smoother and reduce some of the initial confusion.
That said, once on the Caminito, everything was well worth it. The scenery, the engineering and the overall experience more than made up for the slightly chaotic start.
I would absolutely recommend Caminito del Rey to anyone visiting Andalucía or the Costa del Sol. It was one of the standout experiences of my entire trip and a memory I’ll take away with me. 🇪🇸🥾🏞️
