This tour was a highlight of our trip to Andalusia. The Caminito del Ray is an outstanding area of natural beauty, an awe-inspiring landscape and a feat of engineering. We joined the tour in Nerja, the coach trip is quite long at over 2 hours with pick-ups, but our super-friendly guide Luis kept us entertained with info about the local area, speaking seamlessly between German and English. We were guided through through the canyon by another guy called Luis, who made the trip for us - his knowledge of the terrain, geography, history and wildlife brought the walk to life, we learnt so much from him. Walking the boardwalks high above the river and around the mammouth limestone slabs was exhilarating - the renovation of the walkways has been beautifully done - safe, but not sanitised. We've never experienced anything quite like it, and will remember it as a highlight of our holiday. Excellent value for money too.

We picked up on time outside our hotel Riu Monica & the guide onboard was excellent,vey informative,,knowledgeable & friendly. The walk through the canyon was just beautiful ,exceptional. I do think most people could do it ,not to much up downs ,& could be done in a good pair of trainers. That did supply a small bottle of water each which was fine for us . Our guide through the canyon was also very good . There was time to stop at the end to buy drinks & fast food ,souvenirs ect but that area was plagued buy swarms of very persistent and annoying wasp ,.unfortunate but certainly didn’t Detract from a exceptional day we will never forget.

The tour is very good; the tour guide Luis explained everything perfectly and led the tour well. The tour is very long on foot; you have to be good at walking. On the walkways on the cliff and over the bridges, they walked very fast; we would have liked that to be a bit slower in order to get more impressions as well.

The guide Carlos was fantastic. He knew how to communicate his knowledge clearly and follow the group's pace appropriately. Well done and thank you!!

A fantastic experience that we will never forget. The guide was read and fun. The only negative was that the headphones were extremely bad so we couldn't hear anything through them, so we walked right next to the guide.

From the moment of pick up, we felt well looked after, the coach was v comfortable and air conditioned. Once we were underway Luis was giving us snippets of information about things on the journey, and as we got closer he explained what would happen when we got to the Caminito, he was professional and funny and put everyone at ease, the caminito is amazing and very safe, give it a go!

Great hike. This should definitively be on your bucket list. The guides and drive were great. Highly recommend !

It was a unique experience and remains unforgettable!! The organization was top-notch!! Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our great guide (Louis or Dominik..). He was such a good storyteller and had a lot of knowledge, which he conveyed competently and in a friendly manner!! Anytime again!!

A beautiful hike with a historical background. You shouldn't have a fear of heights to be able to enjoy everything properly. Our guide Luis was super!!
