Really lovely hike at sunset! Because it was January, there was not much wildlife out but the tour guide was very personable and we heard an owl!

Our experience with our Trail Lovers guide, Derek, was nothing short of exceptional. He brought us to a hike best suited for our skill level and curiosity. Derek’s shared his knowledge and experiences along the way making every step taken that much more interesting. We can’t recommend a night hike enough. Brett was awesome, great vibes and energy. Very knowledgeable…. Gave us a wide choice of trails. Hiking up as sun was setting then down once it was dark made for two unique experiences. Saw rattlesnake, scorpions, tarantulas. Would highly recommend !

Don't think twice about this tour. Just book it. Jason picked us up from our hotel on a Friday evening. He offered options at the start of the tour based on our interests and hiking experience. I misunderstood and thought this was a group tour, but it is private, as the title says. Touring with Jason is like a mash-up of Mark Twain, a well-read naturalist, and an old friend. The history and little nuggets of information can only come from someone with decades of experience touring in this environment. From the snacks and the blanket for sitting and looking at the stars to the lights and more, everything is well thought out to provide a truly memorable experience. We ended up seeing scorpions, tarantulas, and a laid-back rattlesnake. Jason identified many of the flora we encountered and included a lot of background information about each. Don't worry about the creatures; Jason has an eagle eye and saw things well before we did.

Our guide Jason was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He made the hike customized for our group. We got some spectacular family pictures. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a night hike. I would recommend doing it early on in your trip. Jason gave us so many great ideas for hikes to do during our trip.

The night hike with Jason - was amazing! He was so informative- enthusiastic about his job ( so refreshing) and made the whole night experience even that more memorable! Highly recommend this tour!!!

One of the best tours I've ever done! Our tour operator, was so knowledgeable and really made the tour. Will be booking again with my family in May.
