Don't think twice about this tour. Just book it. Jason picked us up from our hotel on a Friday evening. He offered options at the start of the tour based on our interests and hiking experience. I misunderstood and thought this was a group tour, but it is private, as the title says. Touring with Jason is like a mash-up of Mark Twain, a well-read naturalist, and an old friend. The history and little nuggets of information can only come from someone with decades of experience touring in this environment. From the snacks and the blanket for sitting and looking at the stars to the lights and more, everything is well thought out to provide a truly memorable experience. We ended up seeing scorpions, tarantulas, and a laid-back rattlesnake. Jason identified many of the flora we encountered and included a lot of background information about each. Don't worry about the creatures; Jason has an eagle eye and saw things well before we did.

Our guide Jason was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He made the hike customized for our group. We got some spectacular family pictures. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a night hike. I would recommend doing it early on in your trip. Jason gave us so many great ideas for hikes to do during our trip.

This tour was just ok, we did not receive the self guided tour information that was mentioned in the description. The van, supplies, and tour guide were as described.

Wow - The best experience we had while visiting Sedona! Claude was incredibly knowledgeable and kept our 11 and 9 year old engaged the entire time. The tour moved at a great pace and we had the opportunity to experience the most beautiful view of Sedona. Would highly recommend!

It was an absolutely magical experience under the stars to see scorpions, frogs, spiders, and to learn about the plants and the constellations! The hike came with snacks, water, a blanket to sit and enjoy the skies and a laser pointer to learn about the geography of Sedona. We had the whole trail to ourselves. What a peaceful and wonderful experience!

This was such a great experience. Meeting. Connor was one of the highlights of my trip to Sedona. He is so passionate about nature and has such respect for the land, the plants, the animals, and I learned so much more being on this hike with him. He was able to answer a lot of our questions and throw in some fun and unusual facts. I feel like we had a whole science lesson that was taught by someone who really loves what they do. Connor's enthusiasm really shows, and it seems that he's really found his calling. Booking through this operator was very easy, and I understood what I was getting and the value for the money was so worth it. I would sign up again for a private hike with a tour guide. This is the first time that I've booked a private hike, and now I'm hooked. Thank you so much for the A1 service. It was so wonderful being picked up at our rental and dropped right off. It was one night that we weren't driving exhausted back to our own place! I also appreciated that the operator provided packs, lights, and snacks. That was a very nice touch to this entire experience.
