Such an amazing tour! Juan was our guide throughout the city and you could tell he was passionate about the culture. My partner and I loved learning about the history of the city and the different stops were all amazing. Try the henry blend coffee at you stop, TRUST even if your not into coffee is soooo worth it! The market was a great last stop too. Great way to get to know the city, its culture and history!

San Jose...A cultural experience awaits
The history walking tour by Jampier was truly a knowledgeable one...learning of the history of Costa Rica...its culture, welcoming people and food...its divided capital is truly intriguing with so much parks and statues in one quiet part of town for a truly relaxed moment at any time of day to the bustling city centre of many businesses and the Grand Market for that memorable local culture experience of crafts, souvenirs, artisans and everything in between with its many sodas...'local eateries'...it was also a plus to be there during their Independence celebrations with a few school parades in the city...Costa Rica is definitely a country I would love to return to someday.

Highly Recommend
Franklin was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the history and culture of Costa Rica while exploring San José, and he made the entire experience interesting, engaging, and fun. We especially enjoyed the delicious stop for drinks along the way—it was such a nice addition to the tour.
One of the things we appreciated most was how comfortable and safe we felt walking through the city with Franklin. We left feeling like we understood San José and Costa Rica so much better than we did when we arrived. Frank is knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing his country with visitors. Highly recommend this tour!

It was great!
We loved it, we toured the center of San Jose on foot, our guide was Maria, she explained each stop in detail. The tour included a coffee, a water, and a souvenir.
I made a mistake on the reservation date, I contacted Enrique and he kindly offered to find us a guide. Highly recommended.

Excellent
The tour was great! There were a few surprised that I wont spoil, and I even made a friend! Our tour guide was super educational and you really feel like you got an understanding of the city and the culture.

A perfect way to be introduced to San José
The walking tour is a great way to get to know San José, learn about its history and get a "taste" of Costa Rica. I particularly appreciated the professionalism and friendlyness of the guide Franklin. The complementary coffee/chocolate drink and souvenir were also appreciated.

Great Tour of San Jose with Juan Manuel!
What an experience! Juan Manuel was an AWESOME tour guide! He was thorough and so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things Costa Rica! He took his time walking us around San Jose and highlighting lots of information about past leaders, politics, architecture, food, birds, and even the Detroit Pistons! Juan Manuel was truly a joy to be around, and by the end of our tour, we felt like family! We had quick stops for ice cream, coffee, and souvenirs as well. If you love history, culture, and want to feel the hustle and bustle of downtown San Jose, this tour is a must do! Thank you, Juan Manuel, for being a beautiful ambassador of your country and sharing your passion with us!

Informative Walking Tour
We had a very informative and interesting tour with a lovely young lady. Sorry forgot her name but it started with a O. Unfortunately this is only a 2 hour walking tour and is quite expensive. Actually it cost more than European city tours.

Just to clarify, our walking tour is normally around 3 hours long. On Sundays, however, the Central Market is closed, so the itinerary is slightly shorter. Also, your booking was for a private tour, which is priced higher than our regular shared walking tour.
