Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain and answer questions along the way. He also was very acomidating to my needs.

Absolutely fantastic few hours seeing sloths and birds. Yendry our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and fun showing us her countries wildlife and seemed to genuinely enjoy it.

Pri was a great guide! Friendly and very informative and passionate about all.. She knew about the birds, plants, sloths and much more. We were lucky to see 7 sloths (both species, a baby a teenager). I would highly recommend this tour!

Everything about this tour was fantastic. Dariel is a very passionate biologist who knows an incredible amount about nature and was able to answer all our questions. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. We also got to see sloths, which was exciting. I didn’t get bored for a single moment, and the three hours simply flew by. What a great guide! I would absolutely recommend this tour!

That was a great excursion through the university parks. We have 9! Saw sloths and many birds.

Our Oropopo guided nature walk in San José was an absolutely fantastic experience! Our guide, Priscilla, is a biologist and her knowledge and passion for Costa Rica’s incredible wildlife and natural environment were truly impressive. She pointed out and explained all sorts of birds, insects, plants and other fascinating wildlife that we would have easily missed on our own. The one thing we really wanted from this tour was to see sloths in their natural habitat, and we were thrilled to see three sloths on the grounds of the University of Costa Rica! Seeing these beautiful animals in the wild was certainly a highlight and an experience we will never forget. Priscilla was incredibly patient and never once rushed us. In fact, she spent considerably longer with us than the scheduled tour time to make sure we had the best possible experience. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and genuine desire to share the wonders of Costa Rica made the tour so special. We highly recommend Oropopo and especially Priscilla to anyone wanting to discover the amazing nature and wildlife of San José. A wonderful experience, and seeing those three sloths made it truly unforgettable!

I recently took the San José Walking Nature Tour with Priscilla, and it was absolutely amazing! Priscilla was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and a true pleasure to be around. She patiently answered our many questions as she guided us through the beautiful campus. We were incredibly fortunate to spot both a two-toed and a three-toed sloth awake and active! However, even without those lucky sightings, the tour would have been well worth it just for the experience and information. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

Our guide Dariel was very knowledgeable. We loved walking with him and we saw 2 slots. The campus walk was good.

I really enjoyed the tour! We learned a lot about sloths, birds, spiders and trees 🌳🦥 We saw two sloths during the walking and the guide helped us to take photos. It was a great experience!
