We spent a wonderful day on Lake Titicaca with Puno Tours. The organization was perfect from start to finish: a smooth boat ride, delicious food, and a very knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommended.

Everybody was on time starting a nice lady who met us at hotel. Diane was great. Then a trip to the Port and a start of an 8 hrs tour. The boat was comfortable, the guide knowledgeable, spoke good English. His Spanish was great, too. All visited places were beautiful. Of course, it was all for the tourists, but we liked it. The company is very reliable and communicates well.

The visit to Uros was very interesting to see the life of its inhabitants, and they 'invite' you for 15 soles to take a ride on the lake in a small boat and buy their handicrafts. From there, for me, the rest is unnecessary. They take you to the island of Taquile; it takes 1.5 hours to get there, you climb to the top, eat at a small restaurant (the food is good), and then you come back down, which takes another 1.5 hours. In total, you have wasted 5 hours for nothing of interest.

Taquile. These guys are so professional yet at the same time very personal. I did a full day private boat tour from Casa Andina, fantastic hotel, right on the edge of the lake where they pick you up. Visited lesser tourist, floating islands on the way to Taquile, where we did a great walk from the dock up to a local restaurant. Fantastic guide who explained so much about the lake and about how people live work and survive here. Could not have been a more perfect trip. You really feel immersed in the lake and the local culture. I can’t speak highly enough for them and they can customize whatever kind of tour you want as they did for me.! Private beats mass tourists boats all day long! Lawrence

Everything was perfect; the guide in Spanish and English was very knowledgeable, and the places were very appropriate. The lunch was very delicious, and although drinks are not included, it is very economical and recommended.
