Too expensive for the sightseeing available in Izmir
The tower itself is a very simple but beautiful tower especially if you go in the afternoon when the sun is setting. the bad thing is that around the tower it's usually super crowded.
which company you get the tour cause We haven't had any Izmir tours in recent months.I think you commented in the wrong place.
It is a large square where a tower with a clock dominates in the middle of it. The square is called Konac Square and is located near the Kemeralti bazaar. Crazy big bazaar…..very very easy to get lost. Make sure you set a meeting point at the clock tower and hopefully you can find it. Too many tourist shops for my taste - but a lot of local food markets. Great place to take pictures. We went at the end of the day when people were leaving work and heading to the markets.
Dear Alexandria, I hope you did not vote "3" for our service and guide. I hope you are happy with our guide and vehicle. They took you to every important location in Izmir. Where you have been, "Kemeralti," was Bazaar for locals and tourists. It is an oriental-style Bazaar, all middle east countries have got similar sorts of markets for locals and tourists. It is true; you can lose your way quickly. You should see it during Ramadan and other festivals time. Sometimes you can not control something in your life. This is one of them. Neither you nor I can control it. Just try to remember it as a "different experience". I hope you returned to your home with good memories from Turkey.

Sometimes we cannot control nature, and sometimes nature takes the lead and directs us. İzmir, which is sunny and hot 360 days a year, was rainy and windy on the day of the trip; at least by sending an experienced and knowledgeable guide on your tour. I think we did the right thing. Reassuringly The Guides really were excellent in every way welcoming,friendly,extremely helpful,informative,doing their upmost in catering for every wish & desire! You have to visit Izmir.i'd put it right at the top of your Turkish itinerary. A must do.don't pass by this opportunity if you can.you'll savour this beautiful city & its wonderful people.the sights,tastes,sounds & smells will captivate you.the iskender OR bursa kebab lunch was so delicious & my Partner even had a chicken curry at the same restaurant we stopped off at in Izmir which was so appetising full of fresh ingredients! you can even see some of the cooking being done right in front of your very eyes.there's a fair bit of walking involved but well worth it if you're able to manage it.the ferry ride to the other side of Izmir is so delightful.the Male Market Sellers are a bit of a pest though.it feels like every one is trying to persuade you into their business to spend your cash but hey that's part of the Turkey experience.keep moving on & it's fine.wallow in the splendour of one of Turkeys most fab cities Date of experience: May 2022
