This was a TOTAL letdown. From the get-go, the staff were rude and unprofessional. One guy named Eder called me, practically shouting because I wasn't there at 3:45 PM, even though my booking was for 4 PM. He said they will leave if I'm not there ASAP. Thankfully I was around the corner. Things didn't improve on arrival. One of the staff were smoking weed during the ride. About 10 minutes in I realized I'd made a mistake. The poor horses also looked miserable and some kept running away. They were nervous and looked clearly neglected. I felt terrible seeing them like that. I've done horse riding in Costa Rica many times and never had such a bad experience. This was a far cry from the usual warmth and hospitality. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place as they have a few locations along Jaco beach. Find a company that actually cares about customers and animals!!
Wow, I am shocked by this comment. My company has been offering horseback ridding tours for over 10 years, and this is the first negative review we've received. I am a native of Jaco Beach; everyone here knows me and is aware of the good service we provide to our customers. We will continue to work humbly. Greetings and many blessings to you.
