It was an incredible night with a host to match. Michi was clear, hospitable, and respectful of the experience, in addition to having a great history as a Northern Lights guide. We were very lucky... excellent KP, clear and starry sky, and a privileged location.
Operator went through every effort to ensure viewing including on the drive from Fairbanks. He was very hospitable. He was also very helpful in setting my camera and cell phone camera for optimal picture taking
Our Guide Jimmi was very good and his knowledge was excellent. Unfortunately the night sky had been covered with cloud in fact more so on the northern side. We waited till 2AM and then came back to our hotel.
Unfortunately, on our trip, it was too cloudy to see anything. I do believe our guide tried his best, but it just felt rushed and if there’s not a good chance in the forecast, they should offer you the choice for a refund.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our guide Michi was very eager to optimize our chances of seeing the Northern Lights and we liked his enthusiasm. The pick-up and drop-off process was easy and the log cabin was a cozy place to hang out inside as we waited for the lights to appear/reappear.
Michi was the best. Highly recommend! One comment- offer better cookies. Costco has a great selection and value!
Our driver Michi was wonderful, explaining the electomagnetic "mystery" to us 12 travelers. The lodge was quite comfortable ... warm, and supplied with water, tea, cookies, and a restroom ... with an outdoor deck and indoor windows for viewing. We couldn't see much, however, so the hours ticked away slowly. On the ride back, he pulled the van over for a better view of the lights. Guide's English was often difficult to understand.
Great night! Saw the Northern Lights! Mechy was great!
