I wish I could give a mixed review for this because the driver was wonderful and the boat captain was wonderful. Unfortunately, the tour director who really was not necessary, decided to delve into the realm of politics with us for no reason. After asking our opinion Of the United States president, whom we happen to like, the trip took a very uncomfortable turn. My travel partner was very upset and uncomfortable for the three hour ride going and the three hour ride returning. Luckily we had a beautiful boat ride and a lovely lunch. My feeling is that certain topics should not be discussed, and if the answer given does not meet with your own opinions, one should not insult the host country of the tourists. I spent a lot of money on this tour and don’t like the fact that my country was disrespected. So five stars for the boat and five stars for our car driver. I would give the director one star and therefore it averaged to three. My family is from Italy and I speak Italian, I could do this on my own.
We are sorry and apologize if your travel partner was upset but are surprised that expressing a personal opinion when asked can be considered so disrespectful. We would like to point out that In your detailed review you omitted that you were accompanied and assisted both to and from the the boat tour and your restaurant reservation was handled out of courtesy and for your convenience. In the future our staff will avoid answering all questions that are not strictly related to the Amalfi coast tour. We hope to have you with us again in the future. Thank you
We had an amazing time on this tour! This was an incredible experience and I can’t say enough good things about it! Our guide went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, stopped to show us extra photo spots, and had great communication. Book this experience if you get the chance!
