Ze provided a great experience. He was very knowledgeable and took us to some amazing restaurants to try authentic Portuguese cuisine. Highly recommend!!

We were given an incorrect address for the cooking studio. We got dropped off and realized. At that point I received a phone call from Viator representative telling us of their mistake and saying they sent me the new address (which they didn’t) and that it was as only a 15 minute walk to other location!! What!! I was very frustrated at this point and demanded they send us an uber to take us the correct address as we were already very late. They did send the uber and when we got to correct studio all the people in the class had to scramble to get to the right place. After that the class was well organized and lots of fun. Alll the food we made was we delicious and Diego was a good chef and instructor. The only other glitch was that the room was so hot. He trying to lower the temp in the room to no avail. We had to keep stepping outside the studio too cool off. This made the experience less enjoyable. VIator needs to fix these problems for future classes. Could be great but mismanaged.

Cooking class with “Lisbon Cooking” was excellent. Chef Sylvia. Was terrific. She engaged all the students giving us an opportunity to participate. I highly recommend this class

Brilliant experience and a really pleasant group

The class seemed to be a good introduction to Portuguese cuisine and culture. The instructor was amiable and engaging. When I booked the class I specified food issues (allergies and sensitivities), when I approached the instructor about this she was unaware and was able to improvise. The biggest issue is that there was another class that had started a half hour earlier, there was no solid wall between the two classes so it was very noisy. Overall it was not a great experience and the food was not very tasty. Therefore, I would not recommend it.

Miguel is an excellent instructor. It was great doing a group cooking session with other travellers from various parts of the world. A nice selection of dishes were represented with more recipes made available to us. The techniques demonstrated can easily be adapted to other dishes. There was a wide range of cooking skills within our group with Miguel making everyone in the group feel comfortable and able to participate.

Highly recommend this cooking class! We went at 11 and had the best time making traditional home cooked meals, unlike what you can find at restaurants. You genuinely felt like you were in someone kitchen enjoying wine, talking and learning about the various history of each dish. I loved experimenting with the spices and ingredients. Our chef was a 2-time Michelin star chef so you are in good hands! Favorite part was making Pastel de Nata. I cannot wait to attempt the recipe at home.

I had great time, we cooked really amazing dishes. Teacher was really nice and explained everything very well. It is very nice place for a cooking class.
