Cool place, Great history. Very enjoyable, a guide makes it even better. Go early and beat the masses.

Great walking tour! We ended up doing a self-guided and it was easy to get around. Tons of history, helpful signage - good for families too.

Tower of London tour
Definitely a must if you love history. The Yeomen, "Beefeaters", are the perfect guides because they work and live there. The crown jewels are more beautiful in person than any picture. I watched the Coronation of King Charles III TV didn't do justice to these beautiful pieces. Even the commentators needed a refresher course. The docents inside looked to be college aged and they knew all about each piece.

To the Tower
This was a great experience. We arrived just after opening and had a very pleasant time with hardly any crowds. By the time we were leaving it had become very busy and we realised you do need to be early. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I am disabled so they gave me a wrist band so that all staff would recognise that I was disabled and offer extra help. A great experience.

Never again with Viator!
Awful experience with Viator! I had to contact Viator while standing at the Tower of London because our tickets came up as invalid when they were scanned. I immediately called Viator for help as there was nothing the man could do for me. The person from Viator was very unhelpful as he wanted to resend the tickets, and he did, and they were still invalid. I asked to be put through to his manager and he connected me to a number that ended up redirecting me to a menu and then disconnected. I was furious as we had to buy five new tickets. This needs to be rectified and I would like to speak to a real person who can actually help me with a refund, please!!! The Tower was great, however, once we got inside!

Disappointed
We couldn’t hear our tour guide. The tour had a large number of participants and it was outside, but he didn’t have a microphone. After a few minutes, we opted to purchase the audio tour instead.

A great day out
The Tower of London makes for a great day out. We did a self-guided tour. The Crown Jewels exhibit was a highlight. Also the white tower was fascinating with all the armour. I liked being able to explore the history and walking on the walls and battlements.

Don't waste your money on the overcharging private tours
The Beefeater Gary was amazing entertainment
