We had a wonderful private tour with Xin to Zhujiajiao Water Town. Through her we learnt some interesting history, walked through beautiful gardens, sampled tea, enjoyed a boat ride & a lovely lunch. Xin also helped us find some lovely souvenirs. It was just so relaxing and enjoyable to be guided and not have to worry about anything. The private transport there & back was also effortless and very worthwhile.
Queena was amazing from the moment we met to the moment we finished the tour. Knowledgeable, informative and very open to questions. She made sure we saw all the important sights, got great photos for us so we could enjoy the tour and made sure we picked the right dishes for dinner to have the best time. The tour was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Shanghai
Great tour. After the hustle and bustle of Shanghai, it was lovely to drive out to the beautiful water village. Our driver and car were very good. Our guide Kalvin was fantastic. Not only did he give us a great tour of the water village, he gave us so much more information about Shanghai and China. We had lunch with Kalvin in a family restaurant overlooking the canal. The food was delicious. Highly recommend this trip.

What a delight to meet Xin today and have her expertly guide us through the beautiful Zhujiajiao Water Town. Xin’s experience and local knowledge was obvious as we explored the gardens and market stalls. A relaxing boat ride down the canal was the highlight of the day. Highly recommended.

A truly excellent tour with an outstanding guide Kiki. Kiki was not only so informative, but delightful, fun and helpful. We loved seeing the beautiful Garden, experiencing the boat ride in the canal, and traversing the quaint streets and authentic shops in the village. Kiki brought our day in Shanghai to life! We highly recommend her and this tour - and Viator organized this seamlessly at the last minute. Excellent communication and service.
We had a wonderful trip to the beautiful water town of Zhujiajiao with Kalvin. Everything went smoothly, and Kalvin was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about Chinese culture and history, as well as the historical development of Shanghai. It was interesting to hear about both the big things, like the architecture and history of the town, and the small details, like the fish and the Chinese game of Go. Kalvin also shared a thought that really stayed with me: life is like playing Go, make your moves wisely and have no regrets.

This is the perfect place to go and experience serene, peaceful surroundings after the chaos of Shanghai. The town is very quaint and beautiful with lots of unique shops. Don’t forget to take a boat ride down one of the many canals!
