This is a nice spot to wander around in Salzburg. There are formal gardens, fountains, lots of statues, and several palatial buildings. There are also several shady areas beneath the trees where you can sit and relax. Recommended.

I did the tour with my granddaughters (19, 17, 16 years old). It was disappointing for us. I myself know Salzburg very well. We probably approached the tour with different expectations. Too bad

Peter did a wonderful job! He answered all our questions! Also he was extremely helpful, showing us the different churches and recommending mass times. Without his help we would not have as good experience. Thank you Peter!

I rarely do reviews but had to do one for Gabi. Our tour guide was Gabi and she made our tour perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with her which included stops at Mirabell Palace, old town, the fort, and other stops. Her pace was perfect; the route she took us on and what she showed us kept our interest and never felt boring. Would highly recommend.

The day train trip out of Munich to Salzburg was definitely worth the 2hr.(each way) train ride. But I just have to add that the experience of this trip was heightened by our so fun and informative guide, Mark form Radius Tours(Munich)! Mark was delightful and I so enjoyed the experience he made happen. His fun loving personality, along with his attention to getting know the traveler(and my fellow tour participants were of such an eclectic and interesting mix which also added to the experience)in his group and making sure all of us were satisfied made the day wonderful. I especially appreciated the hours after Mark's tour to just wander and stop whenever/where ever in Salzburg. Salzburg's architecture just made me happy. So quaint and charming. A spontaneous parade through Old Town added a special element to my day. Do go and save room for all the speciality foods this enchanting place has to offer.
