Andrea was a brilliant guide with a thorough knowledge of the city. We learnt about Salzburg’s history, Mozart’s life and even saw some Sound of Music sights! She gave us a lovely lunch recommendation and showed us the best attractions in Salzburg, including a lovely walk in the hills above the city.
Great tour on a hot day. Our guide was very knowledgable and always looking out for our comfort and convenience.
Our guide was a really nice guy! His English was great, he knew a lot about Salzburg and its history. I would say the tour itself was too long There just wasn’t two hours worth of information to keep my 17 year old daughter and I from getting bored. I usually love walking tours and I love history but this one did not do it for me.

A great way to get an overview of the city highlights and history before you begin exploring on your own.
The tour itself was enjoyable, and I appreciated the opportunity to visit and see so many interesting places. The itinerary was well planned, and the locations were definitely worth exploring. Unfortunately, the experience was diminished by the guide's presentation. With the constant city noise (and her little accent), Andrea was often difficult to hear. Providing the guide with a microphone and guests with earpieces would make a significant difference and allow everyone to fully enjoy the commentary. I also felt that the stories and historical information could have been presented in a more engaging and enthusiastic way. The delivery was quite monotone, which made it harder to stay interested, even though the content itself had potential. Also, I wish we had been given a little more time at some of the stops, with barely enough time or no time to take photos before moving on. A slightly slower pace at the key sights would have made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the destinations were excellent, but improvements to the guide's presentation, audio equipment, and time management would greatly enhance the tour. The ending point was different location but in the description said "the same as the meeting point."
