Excellent overall experience. Recommend to upgrade to the green cars in the Shinkansen. Well worth it. Yoshi was an amazing guide. Very personable, accommodating and patient. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Request Yoshi as your guide. You won’t be disappointed. Views of Mt Fuji from Mishima were spectacular.

Fabulous way to ride the bullet train with a knowledgeable, fabulous guide. Lots to see in a quieter setting - gorgeous views of Mt. Fuji too!

Yoshi is an excellent guide. Due to the weather he was able to customize alternatives on the fly but still got us to see the sights that mattered to us. The bullet train was so fast and Yoshi always kept us informed and masterfully navigated all the trains.

Mishima is a hidden gem. I love the Tranquillity and natural and genuine environment. What I most loved was the streams running thru and within the city. U can also see mount fuji from there. I didn't know we were gonna walk alot.. did at least 15000 steps. Much needed for me. . But our guide Yoshi. Made it so relaxing , walking on a beautiful day. He took care of us. We felt safe and not lost. So thankful for his knowledge, and guidance. It was fun with him. He was the best. He went out of his way to show us back to our hotel bland also walk thru the famous shibuya crossing. Thank you Yoshi !!!

Yoshi was the absolute best!!! He had everything in his little black bag. I fell and scraped my knee, he had a bandaid. He had water for us. Then, it was the hottest day ever, we sit down for lunch and he pulled out a fan!!!! He navigated us thru multiple subways to finally board the bullet train. He was very informative and if you take this tour, ask for him. A++++. We wanted Pokemon cards and he found us a great Pokemon store in one of the subway stations

Riding on a bullet train was top of our list and this trip gave us that and so much more!! We were collected at our hotel by Yoshi who had been in contact with us several times already and were expertly guided through the maze of rush hour Tokyo train travellers which was an experience in itself. We rode the Metro like locals and then got a tour of the main station and the approach to the Imperial Palace. We hadn’t actually realised that it was a private tour so we had Yoshi to ourselves all day!! We would never have been able to navigate the mass of the people at the station by ourselves nor find the right train etc even if we had managed to get tickets so were very grateful that we had booked the trip. The train is AMAZING!! Such a buzz watching them. Yoshi had thought if everything- offering us a bottle of water and he had a device which showed us the speed of the train which was very exciting. In addition, he gave us a commentary throughout and told us lots about life in Japan. The shrine was beautiful, there were several babies being blessed all wrapped up in silk kimonos- gorgeous. After learning how to make an offering and watching people receive their fortunes we headed for the park / garden via a stop at a shop where Y explained what the items were. (He even bought me some chocolate!) The park was exactly what we imagined a Japan garden would look like. The trees were amazing and we had lunch watching the butterflies dancing. We then headed back to the train before taking another train -The Loop - to return back. Being married to a train buff that was another tick in the box. This tour has been the highlight of our trip and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Yoshi was a star and went out of way to make our day the best! Thank you

A must do tour. If you’re fortunate enough to have Yoshi as your guide, you have the best guide there is! Yoshi went out of his way to accommodate my husband who had an old hip injury flair up; walking was difficult, but Yoshi thought quickly and out of the box, to make this tour more enjoyable than we would have ever thought. The bullet train and Mishima are Japanese experiences you shouldn’t miss.

Great dude trip out of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Guide was great. Shrine a perfect place to see the cherry blossoms

Yoshi came to our hotel and we had an excellent day. We experienced the bullet train and arrived at Rakujuen Park in time for a tour of the building within the park. Interesting location and beautiful view from the house of the pond. Yoshi explained how to pray at Mishima Shrine. Found the ritual very spiritual. Yoshi took us to a Sushi restaurant for lunch. He helped us choose from the delicious menu. Enjoyed the experience and managed to use chopsticks. Our day ended with the bullet train back to Tokyo and Yoshi taking us back to our hotel. Yoshi gave us a fantastic day.
