We joined the City Tour with Saigon Hotpot on October 2nd, 2026, and it became one of the highlights of our short stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide, Mai Linh, was absolutely amazing.
Mai Linh impressed us with her warmth, enthusiasm, and incredible knowledge of the city. She did not simply show us tourist attractions — she shared the stories, history, culture, and everyday life of Saigon in a very personal and engaging way. Her passion for her hometown was truly contagious, and her positive energy gave us a wonderful first impression of Vietnam.

Saigon city sightseeing
Our guide is very enthusiastic and professional. Her talks about history and is very familiar with the route. The itinerary is thoughtful and reasonable, which makes us enjoy the feeling of strolling in the city.
We don't want to regard tourism as a simple check-in activity, but want to really understand the beautiful Ho Chi Minh City, so we chose Saigonhotpot to take us here, which proved to be extremely correct. The modern urban scenery and historical buildings shine together, and the spirit of the people in the past shines with the present.
Sincere thanks to the guide, Ms. Khánh Băng.

Browse Ho Chi Minh City with local university student KHOI
The trip to Saigon with Khoi was very nice. 1. Kohi is a slow and deliberate, planned, and very friendly person. 2. We experienced the local breakfast together in the morning, went to the Independence Palace and the Pink Church, and finally visited the Vietnam War Museum, which allowed me to learn about the details of the history. Thank you for Kohi's leadership, hope to see you next time!

Review on Saigon hotpot
I joined the Saigon Inside Out half-day tour with Ngọc Tường Vy, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Vietnam.
The route itself was very interesting and went far beyond the usual tourist attractions. We visited the Thích Quảng Đức Monument, a historical hidden arsenal, local markets, and Cheo Leo Coffee. These places helped me understand different layers of Saigon’s history and everyday life.
What made the tour special, however, was Vy herself. She is energetic, friendly, curious, and very easy to talk to. We discussed Vietnamese history, university life, languages, culture, and many other topics. It felt less like a conventional guided tour and more like a genuine exchange between two people from different countries.
There were also many fun spontaneous moments — taking photos together, practicing Vietnamese, talking with local students, and even playing and singing Vietnamese music. These small moments made the experience feel very personal and natural.
I especially appreciate the Saigon Hotpot model. Having local university students introduce their city creates a kind of interaction that is very different from a commercial tour. You do not only learn about the city; you also get to know a young Vietnamese person and hear how they see their own society and culture.
Many thanks to Ngọc Tường Vy for a wonderful afternoon. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to understand Saigon beyond the usual sightseeing checklist.

Wish Saigon Hotpot continued success and wish everything goes well on Thao Nguyen
Spent two days here with Thao Nguyen. She was lovely and always full of energy. She guided me many places, recommended me so many restaurants and cafe shops which are very worth going. I really enjoyed myself here with Saigon Hotpot and I wish Saigon Hotpot every success!

First day in Ho Chi Minh with a local youth
The very act of talking with locals (Viet Ahn) about the current situation and appearance in their respective countries can be a travel motive. Since it was my first day in Vietnam, fully experiencing the foods that Vietnamese people eat a lot was also very helpful for me in choosing food in the future as a foreigner.

Amazing
We had a really nice day with Jerry and Ann. They both share their own experience and this makes the trip more understanding and we know Vietnam more . Bringing us to those local only stalls for food , that’s the bang ! Must come back more often !
