Chiara was so lovely and was full of knowledge regarding the history of the region. We found it very interesting and would recommend this tour or any of Chiara’s tours.

Chiara from Umbrella Tours was a fantastic host on our tour of Sirmione. We enjoyed strolling the streets away from the crowds, learning more about WW II struggles in the area, enjoying lemonade and circling the peninsula in a boat. As a lifelong resident of nearby Desenzano, she gave us ferry tips and recommended areas & restaurants to visit.

Professional , experienced , knew Sirmione and lots of history so was able to point out spots of interest Good pace. Friendly relaxed and definitely worth it.

What a surprising wonderful tour of Sirmione on the beautiful lake Garda! It’s the more authentic, bigger, less touristy, way less snobbish and more beautiful (in our mind) sister of Lake Como. Nevertheless, Sirmione can get very crowded and trap you with its touristy shops - all within 100 m radius of the marina (where most tourists stay). So it can be very easy to miss all the true and unpretentious beauty of this ancient town whose history goes back 2000 years. Luckily, we took a tour with Davide who expertly led us out of the crowded areas and into the narrow beautiful streets of Sirmione, climbed to the opposite end of the peninsula, explored the extensive archaeological remains of a massive Roman villa sitting at the very tip of the peninsula with an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Garda. We then climbed down and explored many other hidden picturesque gems of Simione topped with a wonderful 30min private boat tour around the peninsula. So many fun summer vibes, beautiful sceneries and wonderful memories. This was our 3rd tour with Davide, and as always we had a great time. Davide is super professional, knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, goes at your pace and does a great job tailoring each tour to the groups’s interests and needs. His passion for Lake Garda, its history and heritage is unmatched and is very infectious, making you feel more like a local versus a tourist. Highly recommend!

My husband and I love doing private tours when we travel because it’s such a great way to get away from the crowds and experience a destination in a more personal way. We originally had our tour of Sirmione scheduled with a different guide, but unfortunately, she had to cancel for family reasons. She put us in contact with Davide, who graciously stepped in to take over our tour—and we are SO happy she did! It truly felt like Davide was supposed to be our guide all along. We both agreed that he was one of the best private guides we have ever had. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and he brought the history of Sirmione’s old town to life in such an interesting way. Beyond the history, Davide gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and other charming towns to visit around Lake Garda. You could really tell how much he loves the area and wanted us to have the best experience possible. We actually wanted to book another tour with him during our stay, but unfortunately, he was already booked—which says a lot about how great he is! We highly recommend Davide to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable private guide. If you’re visiting Sirmione or Lake Garda, definitely book with him. You won’t be disappointed!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour and boat ride! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great insights while keeping the whole group engaged. It was also remarkably kid-friendly, they loved being out on the water and were entertained the entire time. A wonderful, seamless experience that I highly recommend for families!

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Chiara is a spectacular guide with great information and hidden gems to share without the tour feeling overwhelming. The boat tour at the end was a delightful way to get a different perspective of Sirmione. As a bonus, Chiara gave us excellent recommendations for lunch afterward! Davide was an excellent tour quide! Cannot say enough about our experience with the boat ride where we were able to see all of Sirmione along with his personable, knowledgeable history, science shared.
