Very very satisfied with the trip. I especially liked that the group was small. Alex was more than an excellent guide; I already knew a lot about Dali, but he greatly enriched my knowledge. The agency staff are very kind and do everything they can to help. The bus driver was very competent and the guide, Alex, was also very competent.

Driver quoted extra 100 euros for excess mileage. Half way there he increased to 150 euros . Had no choice but to pay. Is was our fault for misreading terms and conditions. We thought 325 euro for 6 hours but it was 325 euro for 125km or 6hrs.. quite misleading . We agreed to pay 100 euro at start of trip but had no choice during trip. Held to ransom. Other options out there people.

Highly recommended. A guided visit to Dali museum and to Dali’s home. Excellent guide who shared his knowledge which made the visit extremely interesting.

I had 2 tours hired. 4 days before, they contacted warning that 1 had been cancelled and the other changed day. I found it helpful on the part of the Enterprise that offered me another tour in exchange for the cancelled one. Since I was not interested, I requested the refund. The attendant Sara was very attentive! I did the Dalí tour which I recommend only to the artist's fans. Long road time...

Our guide Enrique’s vivid and humorous stories of Dali’s unusual life really enhanced our visit to the museum and castle. He helped us understand the art installations and increased our appreciation of the surrealistic movement.

My wife & I booked Explore Catalunya tours for a 10 hour day from Barcelona to Figueres. Rod, our guide, was exceptional. His high level of knowledge, along with his insights and passion for Catalonia, were inspiring. He readily and very capably answered all of our questions and gave us insight into the economic, political and cultural differences existing in Spain. His passion for Dali helped us to better understand the genius of this complicated artist. We would highly recommend him and the tour company! Thanks again for a most wonderful experience. I had wanted to visit the Dali Museum for many years and it finally happened. Our guide, Rodrigo, was excellent! He picked us up (just my husband and me), on time in our hotel lobby and got waters for us for the ride. He was so informative providing an overview about the trip and sharing many details about the areas we drove through. When we arrived at the Museum, he shared details about Dali's work and life and guided us to select pieces of work, providing more details specific to the paintings and answered our questions. He then gave us time to wander about on our own and explore more work in detail. He gave us a meeting point for the next part of the tour, which was a drive to Port Ligat for lunch, where he told us of recommended lunch spots. After a lunch (on our own), he picked us up drove us on to Salvador Dali's home. He walked through the house with us and offered more info following another guide who took us through each room. He was very courteous, asking us if we wanted cold drinks or needed to use the restrooms along the way. On our drive back to the hotel, Rod and my husband enjoyed talking about paella recipes and he continued to provide many great historical details about the countryside and about Dali and other artists. 

Rodrigo was an excellent tour guide and felt like an old friend by the end of the trip. I couldn’t recommend a better person to spend a day with to learn more about the life and art of Dali.
